Ride Your Dreams Card

Ride Your Dreams Card - a card with a city scene and a man riding a unicorn
Ride Your Dreams Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my Ride Your Dreams Card using the Ride Your Dreams Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps. Today is my big brother’s birthday and I knew he would get a kick out of a Deadpool card! For one of my brother’s birthdays, his grandchildren rented a unicorn blow up for the pool and so many hilarious stories came out of it! Lol! So, this stamp was perfect for his card. I also made another card for a friend using the other characters in this stamp set which I will link at the end of my post.

The Details of My Ride Your Dreams Card

For my card, I had a lot of fun colouring this character with my Copic markers! I even added some sparkle to the unicorn’s main and tail with my White Gelly Roll Pen and Clear Wink of Stella. Once that was done, I cut him out with my Brother Scan n’ Cut.

Next, I decided to create a city scene using the Cityscape Die from Kindred Stamps. The city buildings from the Save the Day Paper Pad by Stamp Anniething were perfect for my background behind the die cut cityscape. I die cut this paper with the Card Basics Dies and matted it on Real Red cardstock. The stars were also cut from the Save the Day and die cut with the Card Basics Dies. I love how they are bursting out from my scene!

The card front sentiment was stamped in black and die cut with the ticket die from the Card Basics Dies. For the inside, I decided to stamp another sentiment from the set and added the cute Pup Sidekick underneath it.

For embellishments, I added some black matt dots to the front to tie in my colour scheme.

It’s Your Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my It’s Your Birthday Card using the Ride Your Dreams Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps. A good friend’s birthday was recent, and he loves a certain movie and comic book. So, I couldn’t resist creating this card for him using this stamp set!

The Details of It’s Your Birthday Card

For my card, I had a lot of fun colouring the characters with my Copic markers and then cutting them out with my Brother Scan n’ Cut.

Next, I thought it would be fun to create comic book style card using the Comic Mat Die from Stamp Anniething. Of course, the paper sheets from the Save the Day by Stamp Anniething were perfect for my background behind the characters.

The sentiment was stamped in black with red blood splatter since there is a lot of blood in the movie. Lol! Please excuse the language of the sentiment, but it is appropriate considering the movie.

Since I had one square leftover on the front cover, I decided to print of a Cake Topper of the characters that I bought on Etsy in two different sizes. One for the front and the other for the inside. For the inside, I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set beneath the characters on the inside.
