My Wedded Bliss Card

My Wedded Bliss Card - a wedding card with a couple on it
My Wedded Bliss Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Wedded Bliss Card using the digital stamp Wedding Bells by Tiddly Inks Stamps! This past weekend, we celebrated a wonderful couple who tied the knot!

The Details of My Wedded Bliss Card

For my card, I decided to colour with my Copic markers the couple on the card to look like the bridal couple who were getting married. I added Silver Gelly Roll Pen to the Bride’s tiara, her ring and the veil to tie in the silver embossed sentiment. Next, I used Clear Wink of Stella on her veil for even more sparkle.

The Lady’s Diary papers created an elegant look which tied in the masculine with the pinstripes and the feminine with the florals. The flowers and leaves were also punched out using the matching papers in the Lady’s Diary Pad.

Since this was a wedding card and I wanted an elegant look, I decided to emboss the sentiment before die cutting it out. I added a silver foil border to some leafy vellum that I tucked behind the sentiment. I also silver embossed the inside sentiment, added a silver foil border and a strip of the floral paper.

Finally, for embellishments, I added two heart charms, some silver metallic pearls to mirror the embossed silver accents and pearl jewels for the flower centres.

The Perfect Day Card

The Perfect Day Card - A wedding card with bride and groom kissing
The Perfect Day Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing The Perfect Day Card using the digital stamp After the Vows by Tiddly Inks Stamps. This past weekend we attended a wedding, and this was the card I made for the happy couple to celebrate their love!

The Details of My Card

The digital stamp comes with the couple in full length, but I thought a close-up of the couple kissing would be a lovely focal point. So, I coloured the couple with my Copic markers in tones befitting my couple. The bride has gorgeous flowing locks of hair, and this stamp was perfect to represent her! I added a light coating of white pencil over the veil to differentiate where the veil was on her hair. Unfortunately, it is hard to see in the photo. Finally, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the bride’s veil to give it shimmer. For the groom, I coloured the skin and hair to look like the groom’s Pilipino heritage. This was the first time colouring this skin tone and I was quite happy with how it turned out!

For my card, I decided to create lots of pretty layers with the lace ribbon, heart doily and die cut hearts. The beautiful Craft O’Clock paper was the perfect backdrop with lace, flowing script, worn wood planks and flowers on it!

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder to match the sparkly rhinestones and then die cut out. The die cut “love” sentiment was the epitome of what brought these two together to be married.

Finally, I couldn’t resist adding one more heart in the form of the sliver heart charm under the sentiment.
