Ewe Are My Sunshine Card

Ewe Are My Sunshine Card - A card with a sheep on it
Ewe Are My Sunshine Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Ewe Are My Sunshine Card using the Woolly Friends Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! I love that this Bundle comes with a punch for the lamb that you can dress up with a bow or a bell!

The Details of My Ewe Are My Sunshine Card

This card was created for a swap, and I thought an interactive card with an Action Wobble for the head would be fun!

So, I stamped both the head and the body of the ewe in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and punched them out. You could colour it, but I decided that I wanted the wobble to be the focus. I trimmed down the Mini Action Wobble that I bought on Amazon with my Paper Snips to fit and adhered it to the head.

Next, I stamped in Gray Granite the Basic White background piece all over with the cute little butterfly stamp to add some interest. I went with Gray Granite since it is light and wouldn’t distract from the focal point.

Then, I stamped the tulips in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, Poppy Parade and Old Olive. The sentiment was heat embossed in white onto a Poppy Parade flag from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Once the Old Olive Mat and Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper banners were die cut and adhered together, I added a top strip of Poppy Parade that I embossed with the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder. To finish off my banner, I added some Linen Thread that I wrapped around twice and tied in a knot.

All that was left was to add the elements to my focal point. I tucked in the stamped tulips behind the die cut circle of the Cute as a Bug DSP making sure to line up the left side with the DSP on the banner. Next, goes the die cut circle off to the right overhanging the banner. I popped up the body of the ewe so that I could tuck in the embossed sentiment. The head with the wobble was added last.

The finishing touch was to add a sweet ladybug epoxy shape to the focal point and two waterdrop epoxy shapes to the Poppy Parade strip near the Linen knot.

The Details of My Crabulous Wishes Tag

To be honest I never heard of an Axolotl before and had to google it. Lol! It’s amazing all the colours that they come in!

Once, I figured that out, I used my Copic markers to colour the image in bright colours. Then, I used my Brother Scan N Cut Machine to cut her out. I added Glossy accents to both her and the crab’s eyes and Wink of Stella to her gills/fin.

Next, I die cut my tag in Starry Sky card stock and the DSP with the Intricatags #29 Dies by Aall & Create. I just bought these dies, and it was nice to give them a whirl.

Then, I die cut some Old Olive Vellum into seaweed and a shell from the Build an Ocean Die Set by Whimsy. I blended some Crumb Cake Ink onto the shell to make the embossing stand out.

The sentiment was cut apart and matted with Call me Clover card stock.

To make my tag, I used one of the punches from the Hole Punch Assortment and threaded my Melon Mambo Ribbon through the hole. To hold the ribbon in place, I threaded a shell charm that I had in my stash. Perfect for my theme!

The finishing touch was some clear dew drops to mimic air bubbles.

Faux-Step In Colors Card

Faux-Step In Colors Card- a Thank you card with paint brushes and paint stripes
My Faux-Step In Colors Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! To celebrate the new May-August Catalogue Launch, I am sharing my Faux-Step In Colors Card using the new 2026-28 In Colors and A Rainbow of Thanks Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!

The Details of My Faux-Step In Colors Card

For my card, I wanted to celebrate the new Catty. So, what better way than to make a card using the new In Colors! I tried a couple of different card styles and decided on a faux centre-step card so that I could fit in all the paint brushes.

A Rainbow of Thanks Stamp Set was perfect way to display the colours with a paint brush for each colour. I stamped the brush handles in Basic Gray since I wanted the colours to stand out. Then, I stamped the In Color swooshes and rollers. Once that was done, I coloured the handles with my Crumb Cake Blends. Note: To fit all my brushes, I had to make a slight width change to the Hydrangea Hue (from 3” to 3-5/8”) in regard to the template below.

Since my card was all about the love for the new In Colors, I used the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder for my two steps. You could use DSP, but I didn’t have any and this was my solution.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray and added a Barely Blush mat.

As a finishing, I added matching In Color Dots beside the corresponding colour and a Hydrangea Hue ribbon along the bottom step. The knot on one side of the ribbon helped to balance off the sentiment.
