Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing The Adventure Continues Card using the Scenic Coast Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! I made this WV fun fold card for my Hubby for our Anniversary.

For my card, I knew that I wanted to use both of the sailboat and lighthouse scenes from the Sunset Coast Dies for my card. My Hubby grew up sailing with his family. So, I knew these dies would be perfect for him!

The Details of The Adventure Continues Card

First, I scored my Basic White card bases according to the measurements below. Then, embossed the Blueberry Bushel strip with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Once that was done, I adhered the strip of DSP, the embossed piece and the larger piece of DSP to the main card base.

For the smaller card base, I made it 3 ½” square when folded to fit the die cut scenes with a slight border around it. Next, I die cut the scenes from the square Blueberry Bushel pieces and used my White Gel Pen to add some highlights to the die cuts.

Tip: I adhered the die cuts directly to the DSP to save paper. I wanted to use the same Sunset DSP for both scenes (a continuation of the scene), but that meant I had to cut the DSP into 3” pieces. If I had popped the Blueberry Bushel up, you would have seen the ends of the DSP. So, instead I adhered them together and popped up the finished focal points on the square card base. The square card base was directly adhered to the main card base centering it.

Next, I stamped the sentiments in Highland Heather on the Basic White pieces. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the front sentiment and tied it into a knot. The front sentiment was popped up with the Crumb Cake shells tucked in around it. The inside sentiment was adhered to a Night of Navy mat before adding it to the main card base.

All that was left was to add some Night of Navy seagulls and matching Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
