Happy Halloween Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! Today I am sharing My Tombstone Treat Boxes as my Design Team Inspiration for Paper Nest Dolls using Ragdoll Sally.
I had a lot of fun colouring this cutie with my Copic Markers! In fact, I coloured her skin in three different tones. So, I created a poll in The Paper Nest Dolls Inspiration Facebook Group on which skin tone was the most popular. The most popular green skin tone was used to create a card (Link to it here), but I couldn’t resist colouring the other two to create my treat boxes.
Since it’s Halloween what better way to celebrate with treat boxes to give out to all those cute trick-or-treaters! The Stampin’ Up! Tombstone Treat Boxes were so fun to decorate with lots of little bits from my stash! And the finishing touch was my coloured Ragdoll Sallys!
Today is I am sharing something different than a card. I was asked by a fellow demonstrator to create a project with a Greek theme for a Demonstrator Playdate. I decided instead of creating a card that I would make a photo album from scratch of a past trip that my husband and I went on which started in Paris went on to Venice to catch a cruise visiting Dubrovnik, Corfu, Santorini, Athens, Katakolon and back to Venice. So, I am sharing my Mini Interactive Photo Album using photos from that trip.
Video of my Mini Interactive Photo Album
I had wanted to create one of these interactive albums for a long time. So, I googled how to create one and found a four part series of videos by Cal Summers with a PDF with the measurements. I will include links to her PDF and videos at the end of this post.
The Details of My Album
This kind of album is perfect for any 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper. But, since the colours of the Greek flag are blue and white, I decided to use the Boho Indigo Product Medley. The pretty little paper flowers that come in the Medley were perfect to decorate my cover. I used the World of Good Memories and More Cards and stickers with their travel theme to decorate my album along with the cut outs from the Boho Indigo Medley. The Scallop Tag Topper Punch was used for my tags and pull outs.
What is so nice about this album is that it is flexible to suit your needs. It uses the same 4 page designs twice giving you 8 pages that you can place in whatever order you like.
I decorated my spine with a vintage metal key hole/latch with a rose that I bought from Michael’s Arts & Crafts a while back. The beads were from the dollar store and threaded on Whisper White Baker’s Twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack. I added a pretty charm with a blue stone to represent “Greece” and a Stampin’ Up! charm that I had from a key chain.
I also created a beaded bookmark with a key and Misty Moonlight Ribbon for the inside of my album.
Finally I decorated the back of the cover with the World of Good Designer Series Paper that has the golden globes on it.
Some Tips
For my covers, I used the cardboard found with the instruction for the Paper Pumpkin Kits. I tend to keep them just in case I can recycle them somehow.
I didn’t have any Tyvek. So I used a used plastic mailing envelope that I cut down to the correct size. As long as it will not stretch or rip and is flexible, it should work.
Make sure that you secure the ribbon to tie your album closed to the cover before you add the decorative elements on the covers and spine. Lol!

Every year I am asked to create a Stampin’ Up! In Color bookmark file. So I am sharing my 2021-23 In Color Bookmarks using my Stampin’ Up! 2021-23 In Color Bookmark file that I created for this purpose. Here are some examples of what can be done with them. These are only a few ideas. You could add the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum or the In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Assortments. When you download the PDF files, print them with the fit to page setting in the Adobe Acrobat on Basic White. All files are at the end of this post including a German and French version, as well as the files for the 2020-2022 In Colors from last year.
Brilliant Wings Bookmarks
For the bookmarks with the Brilliant Wings butterflies, I die cut them from the In Color card stock and the stamped flowers from Hand-Penned Petals. I added an In Color Jewel for each colour and threaded some of the In Color Open Weave Ribbon through the hole created by the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I only had the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, but you could use the Fancy Tag Topper Punch or the Delightful Tags Topper Punch instead. This is my favourite bookmark since the In Color Jewels really sparkle on it.
Stampin’ Up! Blends/Markers Bookmarks
For my next bookmark, I stamped in Memento Ink the images from the Forever Blossoms on Basic White card stock and used my Stampin’ Blends for the flowers and my Stampin’ Write Markers for the leaves. Then, I die cut them out with the Cherry Blossom Dies. I also added bling to them using the In Color Jewels and Loose Flower Flourishes. I finished them off with the ribbon the same way as the previous bookmarks.
Easy Card Stock Bookmarks
For my last set of bookmarks, I cut a ½” x 11” strip of card stock for each colour. I glue them directly to the print out before cropping the bookmarks down. I them cut them apart creating 5 bookmarks. Fast and easy!
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here sharing my Sending Love Treat Box for the Design Team of Paper Nest Dolls using Emma with Heart Balloon.
Time for something a little different than a card! Do you give your Sweetie treats for Valentine’s Day? If you do, you might like to make a treat box for them.
The Details of My Treat Box
Isn’t the digital stamp Emma with Heart Balloon so sweet! Perfect for my Valentine Treat Box! I coloured her with my Copic Markers and added Glossy Accents to her balloons and Stardust Stickles to the heart on her top.
For my box, I used a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box from Stampin’ Up! This made a perfect box for holding treats and at the same time easy to assemble. I had fun decorating my box with the super cute Lovebugs paper by Doodlebug! Of course, I had to cover all sides of my box with it including the back!
On the paper, there are some sweet envelopes, so I used a die to cut some mini envelopes in different papers and placed felt heart stickers emerging from them, like my love was being sent in the mail! I place one on the cover and two inside.
For a Valentine box, you need lots of hearts and that is where the doily heart die with the love die cut on it and the cluster of hearts die came in handy. For my belly band, I used ribbon that has Happy Valentine’s Day on it, and I tied into a pretty bow.
Of course, you have to decorate the inside of the box and place lots of treats in it! Again, I used the Lovebugs paper and cut one of the tags out and popped it up on more of the cute paper! Love the sentiment:
“Loved you yesterday love you still always have always will”
My last two envelopes with the hearts flank the sentiment.
Some finishing touches of rhinestones and Clear Wink of Stella on the hearts on the spine add a bit of sparkle to my project.

It’s Laurie here with My Christmas Nativity Scene as my Design Team Inspiration for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. This time I wanted to create something a little different than a card! So, I made a multi layered shadowbox that lights up using the beautiful Nativity Christmas Digital Stamp.
The Details of My Scene
I had so much fun colouring the Holy Family with my Copic Markers! Once I did that, I created my scene using a number of dies from my stash. I ended up with 4 different layers. I love my focal point of the Family and the manger behind them! The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up has photographic images of wood. Perfect for my manger.
TIP: Since the inside of the frame is smaller than the outside, I made my largest layer 5 5/8″ x 5 5/8″. All layers were 5 5/8″ wide with varying heights depending on their position.
The next step was to attach the lights. The wire from the lights was very malleable allowing me to position them exactly where I wanted. I even added a couple of lights behind Jesus’s head to give him a glow. I ended up using a ton of scotch tape to secure the lights.
Once the lights were in place, the next step was to add Foam Adhesive Strips between the layers.
Here is a photo of all the layers adhered together. Now that is a lot of layers!
Not everyone is into home decor, but this project could easily be made into a card. If I remove the frame and lights, you get a good idea of how a card would look.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here sharing my Happy Hanukkah Card! Did you see the cute new release by Paper Nest Dolls called Hanukkah Set? It comes with Mini Owen with Torah, Mini Emma with Challah, a menorah, a dreidel and the Star of David. I was so happy to see such cute Hanukkah images! They are so hard to find.
We have friends who have two little boys that I send cards to every year. So, I knew that I wanted to colour up two of the boys to represent them for my Happy Hanukkah Card. I can definitely see the younger one wanting a Torah scroll just like his big brother’s one! Lol!
I love the elegant combination of silver and blue together. So, I made them my colour scheme for my card with lots of silver accents! Since I didn’t have any Hanukkah paper, I created my own paper using a retired Stampin’ Up! stamp that I already had. It is quite striking with the shimmery silver Delicata ink on the Night of Navy card stock. For the center piece with the Menorah and Star of David, I created a sponged background of Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink. I then splattered water and Silver Wink of Stella to add texture to it.

Today I am sharing with you my cute wooden ornaments that I made using the Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set and the beautiful Nature’s Beauty Cling Stamp Set. I coloured these for a presentation on how to use Blends that I did recently. It’s amazing what you can colour with your Blends besides paper! I have seen Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Pearl Basic Jewels, Tags & Feathers Elements even china plates! Wouldn’t that be a great idea to make your own Christmas plates! The ornaments would be perfect to give as a Christmas gift or even to dress up a present. The process is a very simple one and you get a wow effect!
Supplies:
Stamp: Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set (Photopolymer 150458), Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set (Cling 150528)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708)
Accessories: Wooden disks (these I bought from a friend, but you can get them Amazon), Very Vanilla/Copper Classic Weave Ribbon (150394), Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack (144605), Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack (144599), Cajun Craze Combo Pack Stampin’ Blends (147931), Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack (147273), Real Red Combo Pack Stampin’ Blends (147935), Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack (145058), Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter (144608 ), Something to hang the ornaments (I used some Stampin’ Up! retired jute twine), Drill to make the holes to thread the twine
Measurements:
Large Ornament: 3”
Small Ornament: 2 ½“
Very Vanilla/Copper Classic Weave Ribbon: 12”
Jute Twine: 10”
Instructions:
Stamp the image in Memento Black Ink.
Using the Blends colour your images. Note: they do tend to bleed more on the wood. So, be careful to stop before you touch the edges of image. If you do go outside the lines, the Color Lifter works well.
Once you are finished colouring your ornament, thread your twine through a hole that you made and tie into a knot.
Tie the Very Vanilla/Copper Classic Weave Ribbon into a bow on top of the ornament.
