Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here sharing my last Design Team card for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. I have decided to step down from the Design Team to spend more time with my family. For my I Love Paris Card, I decide to use my favourite RAM stamp called ‘Paris’ Digital Stamp. Nothing is more beautiful than Paris any time of the year, even when it’s raining! We love to visit Paris as much as possible and have been there 4 times so far! In fact, my character as a Design Team Member had a little Eiffel Tower on her sweater. Isn’t she a cutie!
For my card, I knew that I wanted to use the Letters From Paris Paper Pack from Wild Rose Studio. So, I coloured with my Copic markers to match the colours of my paper. The Amour word was perfect since Paris is known as the City of Love! Don’t you just love the Eiffel Tower charm with the linen thread tied in a bow to the flag! I used clear epoxy raindrops interspersed between the raindrop that sparkle from my Gelly Roll Pen because even the rain in Paris is magical!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my Witcher Birthday Card! Today is my big brother’s birthday and I know that The Witcher TV Series is right up his alley. So, I combined all 4 characters from the Monster Hunter Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps onto my mini slimline card.
I coloured the whole Monster gang with my Copic markers for a colouring challenge a while ago. I used the Bard for another card (I will link it at the end of the post). So, I had to recolour him. I love Kindred Stamps! They are such a fast colour!
For my card, I created a scene using only a few things. I love the Lavinia SceneScapes Paper! They have such amazing eerie scenes that can be used for square 6” x 6” card or cut down to fit my mini slimline card. I used the Stitched Hillside dies to create the ground. Finally, I used the Word Bubble dies to finish my scene.
I even decorated the inside of my card with a coin from the stamp set that I coloured with my Copic markers and a strip of the leftover paper. If you watched the Witcher, you know that he swears…a lot. So, I included a couple of more colourful sentiments inside my card that I knew my brother would recognize.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Wish Upon a Star Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using the sweet digital stamp Minnie Amara. You can buy this stamp in either rubber or digital if you join the Paper Nest Dolls Stamp Club. I am a big Disney fan and when I saw that you can get the cutest Disney inspired stamp by Paper Nest Dolls, I just had to join it!
I had a lot of fun colouring Minnie Amara with my Copic Markers even though I found it challenging to colour her skin and hair.
The Details of My Card
For my card, I thought a shaker card in the shape of an admission ticket would be so fun! I used my Silhouette Cameo to find a ticket shape and downloaded the file. This shape came with a number of other ticket designs, but I loved the Magic Kingdom Castle shape at one end. Since I didn’t have any Disney confetti, I downloaded a Mickey head SVG file and cut some out on my Silhouette Cameo. I die cut the Stitched Minnie Bows from Stamp AnnieThing’s Magical Celebrations Grab and Go Box using a piece of paper from the paper pads with a red background and white dots that matched my colouring. I also threw in some red, black and gold sequins and stars that I had in my stash. Did you know that Paper Nest Dolls has Krafty Bling which includes a Magical Mix and Mouse Ears. I will have to get some for my next card!
I love the Magical Adventure 2 and Wish Upon a Star paper pads by Echo Park. Perfect for my Disney themed card! I fussy cut a couple of tickets from the paper that was leftover when I used it for the base of my shaker window. The Do You Believe was a tag in the paper pad and the wish upon a star was from the matching Ephemera.

Today I am sharing my Santorini Window Card using the Welcoming Window Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I love that you can make different cards depending on which sentiment you use. This one is a birthday card, but I also made a Mother’s Day card for my mom too.
When I saw this bundle, I immediately thought of creating a window that shows the inside of the card. I went with bright colours that were inspired by a photo from our Greece trip to Santorini with the bright pink bougainvillea flowers against a white building.
I stamped directly onto the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper that carried over to the new Annual Catalogue. The white stucco sheet of DSP was perfect for my card. The shutters and window frame just had to be in Pacific Point since that colour reminds me of Santorini! To create my window, I used a piece of wind sheet between the window panes. I even used the part of the DSP that I cut of the window on the inside of my card. Then you would not see the glue that I used to adhere the Pacific Point frame on the front.
For the inside, I stamped my images centred on the page so that I can be seen through the window.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Stack of Sweet Wishes Card as my Guest Design Team Card for Copic for ALLE. I was so excited to be asked to be on their GDT again for the month of May. Their Color Challenge for May is using E (Earth Tone) Copic markers. I use Es in so much of my colouring. They really are a staple for me!
For my card, I pulled out Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta by C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps. A friend, Nathalie, asked me to show her some colouring techniques and I thought this image would be a good one for us to colour together.
I showed her skin blending using E Copic Markers (E000/00/21/11/04/R20). Here is a collage of the skin colouring steps:
Next we worked on her hair using E Copic Markers (E18/E15/E13/E11). This is the collage for the step to colour the hair:
For my card, I created a mini slimline card for my sweet Birgitta! Since she is sitting, I placed her on a cake pedestal. I thought it would be a fun way to show her off. I use Galvanized Metallic paper for the pedestal. The flag banners were cut from the DSP so that they would match the other elements. A scattering of sequins adds some birthday festiveness to the card!
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Secret Garden Card as my Design Team Card for Conie Fong Art & Design. This pretty digital stamp is calledSweet Annabelle. She is perfect for Mother’s Day, a birthday, thinking of you and so many other card occasions!
I love the Secret Garden Paper that I have in my stash and have been keeping it for a special card. So, I decided to use it for my card and coloured Annabelle with my Copic Markers in softs pinks, blues and purples to match. I added Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to the dots on her apron and on her hair bow for a little bit of sparkle.
For the card base, I embossed a die cut piece of Highland Heather with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder to give Annabelle a subtle floral backdrop. From that I layered the leaves so that they are wrapped around the tag that came with the paper pad. A few hydrangeas made with a punch tie in the colours of my colouring. For the pearl flower centres, I coloured them with my Y17 Copic markers to match the flowers in her basket.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with my Welcome to the World Card using the new Hanging Stars Digital Stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios that will be released on May 13th. There are 4 super cute stamps being released that day including Dinosaur Friends, Spaceship and Treasure Island!
Rachelle Anne Miller currently has a contest on her Instagram for you and a friend to win all the new digital releases on Release Day! Enter it here:
For my card, I decided that I wanted to use the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper that I had in my stash. Since I knew that Stampin’ Up! has alcohol markers to match the soft colours in the DSP, I used my Stampin’ Up! Blends in those colours. I love how it turned out! Perfect for a new born baby boy that was born recently by a carding friend!
I used a lot of sparkle with the Wink of Stella on the stars and Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen on their tummies. I also used my White Gelly Roll Pen to add some “sparkle” here and there. The photo doesn’t do all the sparkle justice. So, I created a little video showing it.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’sLaurie here! I am sharing my April Showers Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using the cute digital stampAvery in Rain Poncho.
April showers really does bring May flowers! May is here and the flowers are blooming! So, I couldn’t resist colouring Avery in her sweet rain poncho and her little friend with my Copic markers! I have had her coloured for a long time sitting on my desk waiting to be placed on the perfect card and I thought Spring is the perfect time for her!
For my card, I decided to create a circular card instead of my typical square/rectangle ones. A circular card suited the Sending Flowers Dies with its vignette of tulips and flowers in the bright spring colours. The Pleased as Punch DSP with the raindrops was perfect for my background of my card. I added a few more raindrops with the Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes to make the rain sparkle. More sparkle was added with the rhinestones in the flowers centers. I added Glossy Accents to her boots since all goloshes are wet from splashing in puddles!
Today is I am sharing something different than a card. I was asked by a fellow demonstrator to create a project with a Greek theme for a Demonstrator Playdate. I decided instead of creating a card that I would make a photo album from scratch of a past trip that my husband and I went on which started in Paris went on to Venice to catch a cruise visiting Dubrovnik, Corfu, Santorini, Athens, Katakolon and back to Venice. So, I am sharing my Mini Interactive Photo Album using photos from that trip.
Video of my Mini Interactive Photo Album
I had wanted to create one of these interactive albums for a long time. So, I googled how to create one and found a four part series of videos by Cal Summers with a PDF with the measurements. I will include links to her PDF and videos at the end of this post.
The Details of My Album
This kind of album is perfect for any 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper. But, since the colours of the Greek flag are blue and white, I decided to use the Boho Indigo Product Medley. The pretty little paper flowers that come in the Medley were perfect to decorate my cover. I used the World of Good Memories and More Cards and stickers with their travel theme to decorate my album along with the cut outs from the Boho Indigo Medley. The Scallop Tag Topper Punch was used for my tags and pull outs.
What is so nice about this album is that it is flexible to suit your needs. It uses the same 4 page designs twice giving you 8 pages that you can place in whatever order you like.
I decorated my spine with a vintage metal key hole/latch with a rose that I bought from Michael’s Arts & Crafts a while back. The beads were from the dollar store and threaded on Whisper White Baker’s Twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack. I added a pretty charm with a blue stone to represent “Greece” and a Stampin’ Up! charm that I had from a key chain.
I also created a beaded bookmark with a key and Misty Moonlight Ribbon for the inside of my album.
Finally I decorated the back of the cover with the World of Good Designer Series Paper that has the golden globes on it.
Some Tips
For my covers, I used the cardboard found with the instruction for the Paper Pumpkin Kits. I tend to keep them just in case I can recycle them somehow.
I didn’t have any Tyvek. So I used a used plastic mailing envelope that I cut down to the correct size. As long as it will not stretch or rip and is flexible, it should work.
Make sure that you secure the ribbon to tie your album closed to the cover before you add the decorative elements on the covers and spine. Lol!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with my Happy Birthday Card using the stamp called ‘Birthday Mouse’ Digital Stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. Everyone needs birthday card and this one is perfect for a little boy!
I decided to try my hand at making a Clean and Simple Card and let the image take centre stage for my card. I used my Copic markers to colour the stamp in oranges, blues, greens and yellows that I pulled from the Doodlebug Paper Pad. A great colour scheme for a little boy! I have been wanting to use the Stitched Whimsy Dies for a while and thought they would add a touch of whimsy to my card. The sentiment comes with the stamp, but I decided that I wanted to pop it up and added a bit of colour behind it with a piece of die cut paper from the paper pad. A scattering of sequins, Clear Wink of Stella on the star and dots and White Gelly Roll pen dots on the balloons finish my card off.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Welcome Spring Card as my Design Team Card for Conie Fong Art & Design. This digital stamp is called Bunny Tulips and comes with the bunny in the flower pot and two sentiments.
Spring has finally arrived in my part of the world! The tulips and daffodils are blooming, and the birds are singing. I love Spring and the renewal of life that it brings!
For my card, I coloured this sweet stamp with my Copic markers in Spring like colours of pink, yellow and blue. Did you know that you can have pink and yellow snails! Lol! I love how the bunny is peeking out of the flower pot! I used Glossy Accents on the pot to give it a shine and Stickles on the butterfly to make her sparkle!
For my embellishments, I had some paper tulips that were very long. So, I sniped them down and wrapped them like a bouquet you get in the store. I used some paper ribbon that I die cut into a square for the wrap. A piece of raffia tied around the bundle finishes this lovely bouquet off. I added a paper butterfly that matches the fence which was die cut using the Picket Fence Die-namics. I coloured a few of the pearls to match my card and added a few uncoloured ones to match the paper butterfly.

Hello Crafty Friends! Yesterday was a little boy’s birthday and a few weeks ago was a big boy’s birthday. The big boy collects comics especially Superman and the little boy sent me a card with a Superman stamp on the envelope. So, I pulled out my Save The Day Grab and Go Box by Stamp Anniething to make My Super Birthday Cards.
The Details of My Cards
I love that this Grab and Go Box has everything you need to make your card including paper, adhesive, card bases and more! I stamped my super heroes twice and used my Copic Markers to colour them. Then I die cut them out using the matching die included in the box.
My cards were quick ones to make since I mainly used the Save the Day paper sheets and the Comic Mat Die that come with the box. For one card, I pulled out the Background Scene Stencil and did some inking directly onto the white panel that was cut out from the Comic Mat Die. Next, I stamped the sentiment in black and just placed it back into the empty slot on the mat. The other panels were filled with different papers. I love the “Suddenly” just like in the old comics! I stamped the Whoosh!, coloured them with my Copic markers and then added Glossy Accents to make them pop. A few sequins add to the sparkle of the card.
For my other card, I decided to use the “POW” from the paper since the big birthday boy would get a kick out of it from the old TV shows that we use to watch.
One final piece was that I put my super heroes onto Action Wobbles. How fun is that! The recipient can have them wobble on the card! Check it out!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Sweet Maisy Card as my Design Team Card for Conie Fong Art & Design. This digital stamp bundle is calledMaisy and Cory Mice Bundle and comes with six images including two mice and 4 sentiments.
I just coloured Maisy with my Copic markers for my card thinking it would make a sweet Mother’s Day card. My cosmos flowers came out vibrant and bright to create a nice cheery card. I used Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo Designer Series paper from the Brights Collection by Stampin’ Up! to match my bright and cheery colours. The doily I found loose in my stash and thought it created a perfect backdrop for Maisy. The hearts were punched out from the Please as Punch Designer Series Paper to be layered behind Maisy. I love the sentiments that come with the bundle and thought that “Just saying hello” could be used for so many different occasions. To add some bling to my card, I wanted to use some rhinestones but tie in the pink. So, I coloured them with my RV 19 Copic marker. Voila! Instant matching embellishments!
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Happy Earth Day Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using the cute digital stamp Ellie With Flower Pot.
For those that don’t know what Earth Day is, it is an annual celebration that honours the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22.
The world is our home and every year I like to support Earth Day in my own little way! I thought Ellie With Flower Pot was perfect for my Earth Day Card! So, I coloured her with my Copic markers.
Since this is an Earth Day card, I used recycled paper including some cardboard that I repurposed. The Green Stack is 70% recycled paper. The piece behind Ellie has such words as Wonderful World, Go Green, Blue Skies, Environment, Earth, Green Trees, etc. Perfect for an Earth Day card! The cardboard was some that I had kicking around the house. I pulled it apart and kept the middle corrugated part that I tore to fit my card. I just loved using all these recycled bits for my card!
The world dies and leafy vines really add to the Earth Day theme. For the sentiment, I stamped each letter individually in a haphazard way. I love the rustic feel of the blocked letters!

Every year I am asked to create a Stampin’ Up! In Color bookmark file. So I am sharing my 2021-23 In Color Bookmarks using my Stampin’ Up! 2021-23 In Color Bookmark file that I created for this purpose. Here are some examples of what can be done with them. These are only a few ideas. You could add the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum or the In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Assortments. When you download the PDF files, print them with the fit to page setting in the Adobe Acrobat on Basic White. All files are at the end of this post including a German and French version, as well as the files for the 2020-2022 In Colors from last year.
Brilliant Wings Bookmarks
For the bookmarks with the Brilliant Wings butterflies, I die cut them from the In Color card stock and the stamped flowers from Hand-Penned Petals. I added an In Color Jewel for each colour and threaded some of the In Color Open Weave Ribbon through the hole created by the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I only had the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, but you could use the Fancy Tag Topper Punch or the Delightful Tags Topper Punch instead. This is my favourite bookmark since the In Color Jewels really sparkle on it.
Stampin’ Up! Blends/Markers Bookmarks
For my next bookmark, I stamped in Memento Ink the images from the Forever Blossoms on Basic White card stock and used my Stampin’ Blends for the flowers and my Stampin’ Write Markers for the leaves. Then, I die cut them out with the Cherry Blossom Dies. I also added bling to them using the In Color Jewels and Loose Flower Flourishes. I finished them off with the ribbon the same way as the previous bookmarks.
Easy Card Stock Bookmarks
For my last set of bookmarks, I cut a ½” x 11” strip of card stock for each colour. I glue them directly to the print out before cropping the bookmarks down. I them cut them apart creating 5 bookmarks. Fast and easy!
