It’s Laurie with another Design Team Card using Surfer Emma from Paper Nest Dolls! Isn’t she a sweetie! I had a lot of fun colouring her with my Copic Markers and creating this card using things from my stash. I thought the Topical Oasis Suite from Stampin’ Up! was perfect for my card! I’m so ready for my Summer of Sun to begin!

Today I am sharing my All Things Wedding Package that I gave to one of my Carding Ladies who just got married. She asked me for a Thank you Card Kit that she could put together. This Package used something new, the Ornate Thanks Bundle from the new 2020/21 Annual Catalogue, something old, the retired Foral Boutique Designer Series Paper, and something blue, Night of Navy card stock. As soon as I saw her dress, I knew that I wanted to use the retired Floral Boutique Suite. So, I based my design on her gorgeous wedding dress.
Wedding Dress
In addition to the Thank You Card Kit, I included a wedding card from me that used that suite and tied it with some pretty White Glitter Ribbon.
My Wedding Card using the Floral Boutique Suite
I also made my own envelope using the Foral Boutique DSP.
My Custom Envelope, Wedding Card and Thank You Card
I packaged it all up in a tin from the Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards and Tin and tied it all together with the same White Glitter Ribbon. You can never have too much glitter!

Today I am sharing my Paris Sketch Challenge Card. My Demonstrator Group has been giving us Sketch Challenges each week that we can join in during this difficult time to keep us busy and to explore our creative side.
Card Sketch Challenge
I decided to use the Parisian Beauty Bundle for this sketch challenge as a last hurrah since it is retiring. I’m very sad to see this set go, but it will be added to my stash for future projects. I had so much fun with this sketch that you get two cards for the price of one, as well as a bonus one that I will share next week. For these two cards that I am highlighting today, I just switched the coloured card stock. The Pool Party card was the one that I decided to use for my swap.
Here is the second card using a Petal Pink base and Pool Party scalloped frame and different ink colours.

Life is a MerMay Party! I was asked by Paper Nest Dolls to become a permanent Design Team Member! Yahoo! I am so honoured to have been asked to join such a talented Design Team!
So, here is my first card as a Design Team Member. For this card, I wanted to create a slim line card since they are all the rage right now. This card measures 4″ x 9 1/4″ which will fit into a regular Number 10 envelope (4 1/8″ x 9 1/2″). I had so much fun colouring this cute underwater scene using most of the May Release digital images from the Mermaid Set.

Welcome to the first day of Spring with my Spring Honey Bee Card. I am so ready for the nicer weather to arrive! I knew that I wanted to create a Spring vignette where you are looking through the flower frame from the Petal Labels Dies towards the beehive from the Honey Bee Bundle. By sponging the Spring like colours of Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral and Gorgeous Grape with a dauber onto the flowers, I created my Spring scene. Such bonny colours to welcome Spring! For the hive, I created dimension with two different colours of Daffodil Delight and the sponged Calypso Coral on the edges. Love the Gorgeous Grape bee as a accent! Unfortunately, the Golden Honey DSP is not available anymore, but you could use the honeycomb die from the Honey Bee Bundle instead. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
Stamps: Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set (151527)
Inks: Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Pad (147095), Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad (147094), Calypso Coral Classic Stampin’ Pad (147101), Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin’ Pad (147099)
Paper: Granny Apple Green (146990), Whisper White (100730), Gorgeous Grape (146987), SAB Golden Honey DSP (retired)
Accessories: Petal Labels Dies (149635), Honey Bee Bundle (153792), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690), Stitched Shapes Dies (152323), Sponge Daubers (133773), Metallic Pearls (146282), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Bone Folder (102300), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Mini Glue Dots (103683)
Measurements:
Granny Apple Green: 8 ½” x 5 ½”; scored at 4 ¼”
Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4”, 2 ½“ x 2” (hive) and the scrap leftover from the Petal Labels floral frame for the sentiment
SAB Golden Honey DSP : 3 ½” x 2 ½”
Gorgeous Grape: 1 ¼“ x 2 ½”
Instructions:
Fold the Granny Apple Green card stock in half to create the card base.
Centre the Petal Labels Dies in the middle of the large piece of Whisper White and die cut out.
Taking a sponge dauber, sponge Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Gorgeous Grape onto the flowers and leaves that were die cut out of the Whisper White.
Ink up the hive in Daffodil Delight and then using a sponge dauber, sponge the edges with Calypso Coral. This gives a soft look to the edges. You could use the rock n’ roll technique instead, but the edge between the two inks wouldn’t be as soft.
Die cut the hive out with the Detailed Bee Dies.
Taking the scrap from the Petal Labels floral frame, stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. This will save you some card stock…and we are all about getting the most from our card stock!
Die cut the sentiment out with the second smallest Stitched So Sweetly Die.
Die cut the SAB Golden Honey DSP with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
Using the Detailed Bee Dies, die cut the detailed bee from the Gorgeous Grape.
Using dimensionals, center the floral frame on the Granny Apple Green card base.
Centre the SAB Golden Honey DSP in the open floral frame and adhere with SNAIL.
Using SNAIL Adhesive, center the hive onto the SAB Golden Honey DSP.
The Gorgeous Grape bee is affixed with glue dots to the hive. Bend the wings up to give it dimension.
The sentiment is affixed with SNAIL on the right side and a dimensional on the left side.
Three Metallic Pearls tie in the gold from the DSP and add a bit of sparkle.
Today I am sharing my Parisian Beauty Sepia Card using Night of Navy. I learned the Sepia Watercolouring Technique recently from fellow Demonstrator, Frances Elizabeth Kerr, who learned it from Gail Ellis at Blue Rose Paper Treasures. I love that there are so many resources out there to learn new things! For this neat card, I did a twist on the technique by using Night of Navy instead of Soft Suede. The key to a successful card is to allow enough drying time between the watercolour steps. Even though you use only a small amount of bleach, it really adds to the effect. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
Stamps: Parisian Beauty Cling Stamp Set (151466), Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set (149275)
Inks: Night Of Navy Stampin’ Pad (147110), Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708), Jet Black Stāzon Ink Pad (101406), Versamark Pad (102283)
Paper: Night Of Navy (100867), Whisper White (100730), Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)
Accessories: White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109132), Embossing Buddy (103083), Heat Tool (129053), Aqua Painters (103954), Stamparatus (146276), Stampin’ Spritzer (126185 ), Stamping Sponges (141337), Bone Folder (102300), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755 ), Small amount of Household Bleach, Fine Paint brush from dollar store, paper towels
Measurements:

Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4”
Watercolor Paper: 5 ¼” x 4” cut down to finished size of 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”
Instructions:
Fold the Night Of Navy card stock in half to create the card base.
Spritz the Watercolor Paper with water to get it nice and wet.
Create a pool of ink in the lid of the Night of Navy Ink Pad.
Using the thick Aqua Painter, pick up some ink and create a wash on the Watercolor Paper starting at the top and working your way down until the paper is covered.
Set aside and let dry. You could use a heat gun at this point to speed up the drying time. I let mine dry overnight.
Place the Watercolor Paper in the Stamparatus.
Since the watercolor paper is rough in texture, you will need to stamp the Eiffel Tower in Jet Black Stāzon multiple time to get a good impression.
Taking the thin Aqua Painter, paint the Eiffel Tower with the pool of Night of Navy Ink that you created from before.
Once that is dry, use the fine paint brush from the dollar store (or an old one that you don’t care if it gets ruined) and “paint” the bleach onto the Eiffel Tower where you think highlights would be. Let it dry.
Next, rub the Embossing Buddy over the watercolor paper and stamp the script from the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set in Versamark. Cover in White Embossing Powder and heat set it with a heat tool. I stamped it 3 times.
Using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp off on a scrap paper the Fleur de Ly, postage stamp from the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set and the filigree stamp from the Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set and then stamp randomly on the Watercolor Paper.
Using a sponge, sponge Night of Navy ink along the edges and over the embossed script. Wipe the embossed scripted with paper towel to make it stand out.
Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue the Watercolor Paper to the Whisper White card stock.
Adhere the Whisper White piece with SNAIL Adhesive to the Night of Navy card base.

Thought I would share with you my Painted Poppies Thank You Card. I love the Peaceful Poppies Suite, especially the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper! This DSP is stunning with its handpainted blooms and watercolor washes that make beautiful backgrounds or focal points for cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts. I particularly love the piece that has the poppies at the top and bottom of the page. This layout allows you to get the most out of it. I knew that I wanted this piece to be my focal point for my card. The bee from the Detailed Bee Dies gives the card a whimsical feel as if he is landing on a poppy. The Peaceful Poppies Sequins give that card a bit of sparkle while mirroring the splatter on the DSP. I hope you like my Painted Poppies Thank You Card!

For this card, I wanted to create a window of leaves with the Eiffel Tower poking through like on my postcard. I accomplished this by using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and the branch from the Sweet Silhouettes Dies. I stamped the Eiffel Tower in Smoky Slate on Watercolor Paper. By squishing my closed Pool Party ink pad, I created a pool of ink in the lid to use for my wash of sky. I love how I mixed the sentiments from the Parisian Beauty Cling Stamp Set and the die cut from the Sweet Silhouettes Dies. A couple of rhinestones and Baker’s Twine are added for embellishments.
This card would be perfect for Valentine’s Day, an anniversary or even a retirement card! The softness of this card definitely reminds me of Paris in the Springtime!
