Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Welcome Home Card using the Storybook Friends Bundle includes the Storybook Friends Stamp Set and the Storybook Friends Dies by Stampin’ Up! A friend just moved into their new home, and I wanted to send a Welcome to your new home card. So, I thought the Storybook Friends Bundle with a cute bunny family would be sweet!
The Details of My Welcome Home Card
For my card, I thought my favourite fun fold, a centre-step, would work well with the family on the bottom panel and the framed house above them. But first, I coloured the bunnies with my Stampin’ Blends to match my DSP colours. Then, I die cut them out with the matching dies in the Bundle.
I was strategic in selecting the house from the DSP for my wood frame. I placed my die on the DSP and moved it around to see which house would work without the other houses interfering with it. When I found my house, I use a pencil to mark the inside edge of the frame die. This allowed me to use my Paper Snips to quickly cut a rough piece of DSP without needing the whole frame die cut out and wasting paper. Once that was done, I used the die and lined up my pencil mark to die cut out just the house.
Next, to create my “home”, I used the DSP that looked like wallpaper for the centre panel behind the framed house. A strip of the Timeless Plaid DSP was perfect for the “rug” on which the bunnies were standing.
To decorate my side panels, I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and brushed Crumb Cake ink along the edges to bring out the embossing. I also brushed Crumb Cake on the house frame to bring out the grain in the Wood Textured Specialty Paper.
The sentiments were stamped in Lost Lagoon and die cut out with one of the flags from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Antique Pearls to my card on the different panels.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Daisy Daydream Alternative Cards using the Daisy Daydream March 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I loved this kit with its pretty paper pieces (especially those bees!), printed cards and envelopes! So, I made five alternative cards with only adding Balmy Blue card stock to two of them.
But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. Perfect for all occasions, these beautifully crafted cards bring a touch of nature-inspired charm to your handmade creations.
Daisy Daydream March 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit
The Details of My Daisy Daydream Alternative Cards
My Centre-Step Card
For my first alternative card, I used my favourite fun fold and create a centre-step card! The beautiful printed card bases lend themselves to this fun fold. The only extra product that I added was the Balmy Blue card base which was cut and scored according to the template below.
My Centre-Step Card
For the centre panel, I cut the front of one of the daisy cards in half and used the right side for my centre panel. Next, I popped up a large daisy at the top and tucked in a honeycomb piece so that it hung off the edge.
The side panels were from the envelope with the daisies on the front that I cut apart. Since the panels were so thin, I was able to cut both panels using just the front left side of the envelope.
Side View of Centre-Step Card
For the bottom panel, I added the daisy chain behind my sentiment and tucked in another honeycomb hanging off the edge of the centre panel. The daisy chain was a little long. So, I used my paper snips and trimmed off the green leaves on either side of it.
The finishing touch was the bee popped up on the centre panel. You might notice that I again had the bee hanging off the edge of the centre panel. I loved this look which added visual interest and brought the eye to the back panels.
Measurements:
Card Base:
11” x 4 ¼” cut/scored according to template below
Centre Panel:
2-1/8” x 5-3/8”
2 Side Strips (from Envelope):
7/8” x 4-3/8”
Other Pieces from Kit:
Daisy Precut Paper Pieces
Bee Precut Paper Piece
Honeycomb Paper Pieces
Sentiment Piece
My Easel Card
For my second alternative card, I decided to create an easel card with the daisy chain being used inside as my stopper. So, I scored the front of the Blue Card Base from the Kit in half at 2-1/8” to create my fold.
I used the remaining half of the Daisy card front and cut the back of that card base in half to use one panel for the front and the other panel on the inside.
My Easel Card
For my focal point, I layered several elements from the Kit. I used the leftover circle from the Circle Layered piece to matt the green circle. Then, I added the full-length daisy making sure that when the card was in easel layout that the daisy did not extend beyond the card at the bottom. I tucked in a honeycomb behind my sentiment and popped up the bee. Note: Only add adhesive to the bottom of this circle focal point.
Easel Card Open
For the inside, I added the final panel from the daisy card base and popped up the daisy chain to create the stopper. I love how this looks when the card is in easel form with the daisy chain mirroring the daisies on the card front.

4 ¼” x 5 ½” scored at 2-1/8”
Daisy Card Base (3 Pieces):
2” x 5-3/8”

Bee Precut Paper Piece
Honeycomb Paper Piece
Green Circle
Leftover Circle
Sentiment Piece
My Faux-Step Card
For my next alternative card using the Daisy Daydream March 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a faux-step card.
I used two of the yellow card bases from the kit to create my card. One I trimmed 3 ½” off the full card base to create my centre panel. For the back panels, I used a full card base and scored it according to the measurements listed below. There was a score from the original card that I ignored. Once that panel with the original score was covered up with the card stock and the printed envelop, it was not noticeable. Hence why my mats are 1/8” instead of ¼” …less card base showing.
My Faux-Step Card
For this card, the only extra product that I used was some Balmy Blue Card Stock to mat my pieces. The rest was from envelops which included the front right of the blue envelop and the envelope with the bee on the front. Once the envelope with the bee was cut apart, I was able to use the front piece for the back panel that ran the length of the card. Then, I used the back of the envelope for the bottom panel.
Side of My Faux-Step Card
Again, for my focal point, I layered several pieces from the kit together.
Measurements:
2 Yellow Card Bases:
4 ¼” x 5 ½” scored at 1 ¼”, 2 ½” and 5 ½”
3 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Balmy Blue (3 Pieces):
3-3/8” x 4-1/8” (Centre Panel)
1-1/8” x 5-3/8” (Bottom Panel)
2-7/8” x 5-3/8” (Back Panel)
Envelope Pieces:
3 ¼” x 4” (Blue Envelope)
1” x 5 ¼”
2 ¾’ x 5 ¼”
Other Pieces from Kit:
Daisy Precut Paper Piece
Bee Precut Paper Piece
Honeycomb Paper Piece

My Birthday Card
For this alternative card, I decided to use the circle layer on top of the daisy card to create a peekaboo to the daisies below. I added several Daisy Pre-cut Paper Pieces around the sentiment and popped up the bee.

My Thank You Card
For my last alternative card, I had the daisy part leftover from the blue envelop and thought it would be pretty peeking through the circle layer.
My Thank You Card
The daisy just fit in the circle to the point that I adhered it directly to the circle layer. If I had popped it up, the edges would have been noticeable. So, instead, I popped up the whole circle layer.
Once again, I layered several pieces, including a large daisy, sentiment, honeycomb, vellum and a bee, from the kit for my focal point. I added an extra bee since I had one leftover.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Kiddin’ Around Birthday Cards using the Kiddin’ Around Bundle and the Just Kiddin’ 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up! I am pleased to see that the Kiddin’ Around Stamp Set and the Kiddin’ Around Dies are carrying over to the new Catty! Yay!
I was honoured to be asked to present my colouring techniques using Stampin’ Blends to several demonstrators at a Stampin’ Up! Play Date that was organized this past weekend by my team leaders. They asked me to demonstrate colouring people with Stampin’ Blends and the Kiddin’ Around Stamp Set was perfect for this!
The Details of My Kiddin’ Around Birthday Cards
For my Kiddin’ Around Birthday Cards, I thought it would be fun to use the same centre-step fun fold for all my cards with slight variations on decorating them. I only demonstrated the colouring of the little girl, but I decided to colour all the kiddies using the different Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends to give a good variation of skin tones for my presentation.
My Presentation Card
For the card that I presented, we used the Stampin’ Blends Medium Combo for her skin, Basic Black for her hair, Fresh Freesia, and Daffodil Delight for her dress. We created a fold in the centre of her dress by adding a small Fresh Freesia triangle to add interest. To add texture to her hair, we left some white highlights which we then coloured with the bullet tip of the Light Basic Black. I find that the felt tip is always darker than the bullet tip. Thus making it great to add a third tone. You could also use the Smoky Slate for that third tone. We used Light Smoky Slate and Light Fresh Freesia for her mouth.
My Presentation Card
For her paper with her sun drawing, we used Light Smoky Slate along the top under her hand, left side and bottom of the page. Next, we used the Color Lifter along the edges of Smoky Slate to soften the edge and push the ink back into the shadows of the paper. We let that dry before adding the Daffodil Delight since we wanted control of the ink and for it not to spread. We added Wink of Stella to the sun.

The Building of the Card
The sentiment was stamped in Fresh Freesia and die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.
To make her pop from the card, the Berry Burst card stock was embossed with the Splatters Embossing Folder and placed behind her. Perfect for my arts and crafts theme.
Finally, to match my dress colour, I went with a Fresh Freesia card base and followed the measurements in the template that I have included at the bottom of this post.
As a finishing touch to all my cards, I added some Iridescent Foil Gems near the sentiment on each card.

My Sailors Card
For my next card, I went with three different skin tones to show the diversity of the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends. I used Medium Combo for the girl, Medium Light for the baby and Medium Deep for the boy.
My Sailors Card
To achieve the curly hair for the boy, I coloured his hair in Light Basic Black. Once it was dry, I added Dark Basic Black with little “c” squiggles all over but left some of the Light Basic Black showing through. The shadows on his paper hat were achieved the same way with the Light Smoky Slate as the girl’s paper above.
Close Up of the Three Kids
This girl’s hair was done with the same method as the first girl that I presented.
The other Stampin’ Blends colours that I used on this card were pulled from the DSP. They consisted of were Pool Party, Azure Afternoon, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Freesia and Poppy Parade. Wink of Stella was added to the heart on the girl’s top.
For this card, I went with a Pool Party card base and used the dies from the Give It a Whirl Dies for the Basic White clouds on the side panels which I trimmed with my Paper Snips.
Supplies:

My Wizard Card
For my last card, I used the Stampin’ Blends Deep Combo for his skin tone.
My Wizard Card
To make his skin pop, I went with Lemon Lime Twist Blend Combo with Daffodil Delight for his hat and Azure Afternoon with Daffodil Delight for his robes. The bunny slippers were Smoky Slate with Fresh Freesia for the ears.
Close Up of My Wizard Boy
For this card, I went with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and used the castle dies that come in the Bundle to help ground my little guy. I thought that the DSP behind the castle looked like trees and gave the perfect backdrop to my castle.
Supplies:
Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Kiddin’ Around Bundle (162839), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183)
Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708)

This Bundle includes 4 images:
Title 1: Easter Rabbit Trio
Title 2: Rabbit Holding Egg
Title 3: Rabbit Holding Daffodil
Title 4: Rabbit Holding Carrot
The Details of My Card
For my card, I thought I would create a fun Centre-Step card (downloadable template at end of post) with these three cuties on it! The bunnies come as individual images, but if you get the PNG versions, you can use Microsoft Word to place them together like I did. I made the Egg Bunny larger than the other two since he is in front of the other two.
Once I printed them out, I coloured them with my Copic markers. I decided to colour them in different colours since bunnies come in all sorts of colours and to distinguish them from each other. I coloured the Easter egg to match the purple paper with yellow to match the daffodil and orange to match the carrot. You could say that the Easter egg tied up my colour scheme in a bow.
Side View of Easel Card
I went with soft pastels of purples, yellows, and greens for my paper choices since they are the perfect Easter colors! The Wisteria Wonder Baker’s Twine tied in a bow behind my cuties added some interest to the yellow base. The sentiment piece was die cut with a 3” stitched circle die on the yellow paper from the Welcome Easter Paper Pad by Echo Park. The die cut sentiment was glued directly to the circle.
I used Clear Wink of Stella on the Easter egg to make it sparkle. A scattering of sequins was added to give even more sparkle.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Flowering Fields Birthday Wishes Card using the Flowering Fields Stamp Set and the Windmill Fields Dies by Stampin’ Up!
The Details of My Card
For my card, I thought it would be fun to create a Centre-Step Card, so it looks like the windmill is popping out of the tulip fields. Of course, if you have a windmill, wouldn’t it be fun to make it interactive! So, I added one of the round brads through the blades and into the windmill base.
Tip – to keep the brad from showing from behind the windmill on the card, folded down the arms at angle.
Position of Brads on Back of Windmill
The windmill was popped up with dimensionals to allow the back of the brad to have room.
I love the beautiful Flowering Fields DSP and used it for the grass/sky piece behind the windmill and the tulip fields! I pulled the colours from the DSP for my sentiment and for the ribbon. A couple of the sweet butterflies balanced out the ribbon on the sentiment.
Supplies:
Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Flowering Tulips Stamp Set (157672), Windmill Fields Dies (157683)
