Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My It’s Your Day Card using the Fragrant Layers Bundle by Stampin’ Up! Wouldn’t this card be perfect for Mother’s Day, a birthday or congratulations!
The Details of My It’s Your Day Card
I wanted a fast card that was special and decided to use a card sketch from the 2024/25 Annual Catalogue and added my own spin to it. Can you figure out which one I used? Lol! Sketches are a great way to inspire you!
Sketches
I love the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper with its metallic gold foil details. So, as inspiration, I went with gold embossing of the floral stamp and then stamped Fresh Freesia for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves.
To match the gold embossing, I added a Gold Foil mat behind the focal point. In addition to this, I gold embossed the sentiment. Lots of sparkle for a special card!
Instead of a bow like in the sketch, I added a die cut flower with a large Pearlized Faceted Circle in its centre. The other thing that I added was an embossed Basic White panel using my favourite Eyelet Embossing Folder.
A scattering of Tiny Bee Trinkets added even more sparkle to my card.
Instructions for My It’s Your Day Card:
Cut and score card base
Stamp and heat emboss the flowers on the Basic White
Stamp the flowers with Fresh Fresia and leaves with Old Olive
Mat onto Gold Foil
Heat emboss the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White
Die cut it and add a die cut Old Olive mat
Emboss the Basic White panel with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and adhere to Old Olive card base
Adhere the DSP at an angle to the card base
Pop up the focal point at an angle
Pop up the sentiment so that it is straight
Add the Fresh Fresia flower and add Pearlized Faceted Circle to the center

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Floral Bridge Card using the Fragrant Layers Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I decide to make a triple panel bridge card to show off the beautiful die cuts from the Fragrant Layers Dies. Don’t you just love it when the card is closed, and the insides are hidden creating a nice surprise as the recipient opens the card!
The Details of My Floral Bridge Card
For my card, I wanted to showcase the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper with its metallic gold foil details.
First, I created the card base and cut it according to the measurements below. I went with larger side panels since I didn’t want too much space on either side of my central die cut panel. Plus, the “floral bridge” limited how wide it could be too.
Close Up of Focal Point
I thought it would be a fun bridge if I used the largest solid floral to join my two side panels! Old Olive leaves tie in the DSP colours and added some interest.
The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive and die cut using the flag in the die set.
For the central panel, I used the background floral die and layered the Lovely & Beautiful DSP behind it. Love that it peeks through!
Second Panel inside Card
For the inside, I love how the gold accents on the DSP are revealed as you open the card! A Basic White message piece was stamped in Peach Pie and added to the card base.
Third Panel Inside Card
A scattering of Pearlized Faceted Circles added some sparkle to the front.
Instructions:
Score and cut card base.
Die cut the central panel with the background floral die
Embossed the Basic White panels with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and adhere to side panels
Using a strong glue, like liquid glue, adhere the Peach Pie floral die cut to side panels. Tuck in Old Olive leaves.
Stamp sentiment and pop up
Adhere the DSP to the back of the central panel
Stamp flower on inside Basic White piece and adhere making sure to line up with the DSP

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Beautiful Valentine Cards using the Special Delivery January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I made 5 alternative cards including 3 with fun folds and 2 as regular cards.
But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. Craft the prettiest handmade valentines with the Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit! These charming floral cards are perfect for sweet messages to friends and loved ones, with gold foil and nostalgic postage stamp designs to make every note feel special.
Special Delivery January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit
The Details of My Beautiful Valentine Cards
My Gate Fold Card
For my card, I used one of the note cards in the kit but scored it at 1-7/8” and 5-5/8” to create my gate. Next, I cut apart a blue envelope from the kit to decorate the front of my card. I trimmed down the front of the envelope so that the address label was centred. I kept 2 strips of leftover envelope for the inside of my card.
My Gate Fold Card
For my focal point, I used the blue flowers ephemera and centred it in the address label. I stamped the “Love Heart” sentiment in Blueberry Bushel and used a circle die to cut it out. Then, I used a Spotlight in Nature die to die cut a Blueberry Bushel mat. A scattering of Rhinestones added sparkle.
Inside Panel of Gate Fold Card
For the inside gate part, I used the postage die from the Beautiful Blooms Add-on Dies to die cut a Basic White piece on which I stamped the sentiment and roses from the Kit. This was matted with a Blueberry Bushel mat. A strip of the envelope was tucked in behind this to tie in the front.
Inside Gate Fold Card
Since the original fold for the card was on the inside, I added a Blueberry Bushel mat to cover it up. Then, I stamped the sentiment on Basic White and added a strip of the envelope making sure that it lined up with the strip on the inside gate part.
Supplies:
Stamps: January 2026 Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit
Inks: Blueberry Bushel (147138)
Paper: Basic White (166780), Blueberry Bushel (146968), Blue Envelope in Kit

My Bridge Card
For my next alternative card, I decided to create a bridge card using the pink plaid card base from the Kit. The floral postage ephemera was perfect for this kind of card! So, I cut the front at 1” and 4 ½” up to the fold to create my 3 panels.
My Bridge Card
Next, I stamped my “Love Heart” sentiments in various places while I had the floral ephemera in place. Then, I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets to die cut a Poppy Parade “Beautiful” from the Beautiful Blooms Add-on Dies. I only added 2 popped up flowers to my card front and reserved the other one for the inside.
Inside Panel of Bridge Card
Once the front was done, it was time to work on the inside panel. Again, I stamped the “Love Heart” sentiments but made sure they were hidden when the card was closed. I used the postage die from the Beautiful Blooms Add-on Dies to die cut a Garden Green piece for my background. I decorated it with 2 postage stamp ephemeras and the remaining flower.
Inside Bridge Card
For the inside, I placed strips of leftover envelope from the prior card and placed them on either side. Then, I stamped the 2 sentiment stamps to complete my card.
Supplies:
Stamps: January 2026 Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit
Inks: Poppy Parade (In Kit)
Paper: Poppy Parade (119793), Garden Green (102584)

My Easel Card
For my next alternative card using the January 2026 Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made an easel card.
Easel Card
For this card, I used the leftover frame from the punched out postage ephemera. I love this idea of repurposing pieces that would otherwise be thrown out!
First, I created my card base according to the measurements below. Then, I added a Poppy Parade mat and a stamped Bubble Bath mat so that the stamping would show through the empty spots in the frame.
Easel Card Open
Next, I decided to use the leftover postage ephemeras from the card above but popped them up from the frame. I placed 4 of them in their matching spots but I moved the small rose one to give support to my “Beautiful” die cut. To add interest and fill in space, I added a heart puffy sticker from the Softest Spring Mix & Match Puffy Stickers above the “Beautiful” sentiment.
Side View of Easel Card
Finally, for the inside, I used a leftover strip from the blue envelope and matted it with Poppy Parade. “Sending Love” was stamped on a circle from the kit and popped up.
Supplies:

My Other Alternative Cards
Here are my other alternative cards that created using the Special Delivery January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit. These final cards are regular card bases using the elements from the Kit with the addition of card stock and the Beautiful Blooms Add-on Dies.
MySketch Card
Stampin’ Up! has a sketch challenge going on and I thought the postage stamps ephemera lent themselves to it. #CreativeChallengeSU
Stampin’ Up! Sketch
I used one of the card bases and added a strip from one of the green envelopes to the top of my card. To add interest, I added a die cut gold “Beautiful” and a thin gold border to my header. Then, I layered the ephemera according to the sketch. I decided to add some gold embossed “Love Heart” sentiments as the smaller elements in the sketch. These were punched out with a 1” punch from my stash. I also gold embossed the “Happy Valentine’s” sentiment. Lots of golden accents for this card!
My Sketch Card
Puppy Valentine Card
For my last alternative card, my puppy literally ate part of my card! Lol! I was working on my cards and noticed that my puppy was chewing! I had dropped the green leaves and he discovered them. The top is a photo of what was left of it after he snacked on it.
Leftovers from Puppy
So, it became part of one of my alternative cards! I kept the background the same as the card in the kit but added a Garden Green backdrop to my rose. For the rose, I cut the bottom row of petals off, glued them down and then used dimensionals to pop up the central part. It gave it a fun 3D look!
Puppy Valentine Card
Then, I tucked in the remaining leaves around the rose. I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets to die cut a poppy Parade “Beautiful” from the Beautiful Blooms Add-on Dies. Can you tell I love this die cut word! I used it on 4 of my 5 alternative cards! Lol!
As a finishing touch I added a butterfly puffy sticker from the Softest Spring Mix & Match Puffy Stickers.

The Details of My Watercolor Thank You Cards
My Twisty Thank You Card
For my card, I used a 5 ½” x 11” Basic White card base and scored it according to the measurements below. Then, I layered a Night of Navy mat with a Shaded Spruce mat. The final layer was the envelope from the Kit trimmed down to fit.
My Twisty Thank You Card
For my focal point, I used a leftover card base from the kit and matted it with Night of Navy. The sentiment was stamped and die cut out with one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies. To add visual interest, I added a Garden Green leafy vine from the Nature’s Symphony Dies and popped up some flowers from the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies. The finishing touch were some copper sequins that came in the kit.

Inside of My Twisty Thank You Card
Now, for the inside! I decided to use the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White strips. These were layered onto Shaded Spruce mats.
Inside of Card
Once that was done, it was time to add my tags. I die cut them twice. Once using the card bases and then again with Shaded Spruce and adhered them together. The sentiment was stamped and die cut with a rectangle from the Textured Notes Dies and adhered to the Shaded Spruce side. Some Baker’s Twine from my stash finished them.
Flipped Inside Tags and Sentiments
To adhere them correctly, it is best to have the inside of the card fully opened. This will help to get the sentiment facing the correct way. I learned the hard way! It took me a couple tries before I had it! Lol!
All Inside Sentiments Displayed
Don’t you just love that when you open the card you get the first set of sentiments and then you keep opening and the sentiments flip to see the other side of them. When the card is fully open, you get all three sentiments displayed.

My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
For my next alternative card, I had a number of scraps leftover from my other alternative cards. So, I decided to create this fun fold that is like a card within a card.
My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
I used the negative oval frame from when I made my other cards and layered it onto a Shaded Spruce mat. This is a great way to use up scraps that you would otherwise throw out and extend their use! I stamped the sentiment on an oval from the kit and added some stamped accents to fill the space. A Shaded Spruce flower from the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies was popped up for interest. A scattering of copper sequins from the Kit were added for sparkle.
Close Up of Focal Point
Once the focal point was done, it was time to work on the card base. I used an 8 ¼” x 4 ¼” Basic White card base scored at 5 ½”. For the front flap, I used a Shaded Spruce Mat with the part of the leafy card base. The focal point was popped up on the front flap of the card.
Inside of My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
Inside of Card
For the inside, I used a Shaded Spruce Mat and embossed a Secret Sea piece with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. This created the foundation for my smaller inside card which measured 9” x 3 ¼” and scored at 4 ½”. I decorated the inside card front with another Shaded Spruce mat and a part of the leafy card base from the kit with some die cut Basic White flowers. I stamped the sentiment on a sentiment strip from the kit and layered some leaves and a Secret Sea flower around it.
Inside of Smaller Card
The inside of the smaller card consisted of a Shaded Spruce Mat with a Basic White message area where I stamped the third sentiment. I love that all the sentiments in the Kit go together so well! I added a left over strip of the leafy card front.

My Faux-Step Card
For my next alternative card using the Watercolor in Bloom December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a faux-step card. I shared this in my Facebook Group and there was a lot of interest in it. So, I decided to share it here too.
My Faux-Step Card
First, I measured and scored the two pieces for the card base according to the measurements below. Then, I used the preprinted rectangle piece and trimmed a little off the top and bottom to fit my card. This was matted with a Night of Navy piece. The sentiment was stamped on a rectangle provided in the Kit and decorated like the instructions mentioned.
Side View of Card
Next, I trimmed down an envelope to create my bottom panel which I matted with Night of Navy. I love that the envelopes are printed allowing greater card making capabilities!
Finally, for the inside panel, I used part of a card base provided in the Kit and matted it with Night of Navy.
Supplies:
Stamps: December 2025 Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin Kit
Inks: Night of Navy (In Kit)
Paper: Basic White (166780), Night of Navy (100867)

Bottom Panel (envelope): 1” x 5 ¼”
Inside Panel (card base from kit): 2 ¾”” x 5 ¼”
My Other Alternative Watercolor Thank You Cards
Here are my other alternative cards that created using the Watercolor in Bloom December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
First, I created a fun centre-step card. I made the focal point for the centre panel as directed in the instructions but adhered it to my favourite fun fold! I trimmed down a card base for my sides and bottom panels.
Centre-Step Card
Next, I created a fun barn door card. I trimmed the card base at 2 3/4” to create my door. Then I added a piece of Eyelet 3D Embossed Pretty Peacock that measured 2 3/4” x 4” on the inside in the opening. I created my focal point and adhered only the bottom half to the front of the card.
Barn Door Card
Then, I created an easy z-fold card. I made the front focal point the same as the instructions but used the oval on the inside to create a place to write a message. I also used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder behind the oval to add interest and fill in the space.
Z-Fold Card
The next card that I created was a book binding card with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder for the binding and White Baker’s Twine.
Book Binding Card
These final cards are regular card bases using the elements from the Kit with the addition of card stock and the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Happy Birthday Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the cute Penelope Poppy. Poppies are one of my favourite flowers and since my birthday is this week, I decided to create a birthday card for me! Lol! I have used this digital stamp before and will include a link to my other card at the end of this post.
The Details of My Happy Birthday Card
For my card, I knew that I wanted to use the Poppy Decorative Background Metal Die by Paper Roses. I had brought it and some Paper Rose poppy paper in the summer. So, Penelope Poppy was perfect for these elements!
I love this sweet image by Conie Fong and had fun colouring it with my Copic markers to match the Poppy Garden Basics Paper Collection. Next, I used the Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen on the poppy centres and on her buttons and polka dots to add a bit of sparkle.
Since the die background was a little large, I decided to have it jut up from the card base itself. It gave the card visual interest while creating a focal point for my card. I used a scene from the paper pad to layer behind the die background. I love how the poppies from the paper peek out behind Penelope!
The sentiment was from the Tricycle Gnome and Sentiment Bundle. This Bundle comes with 5 sentiments. I used a Stitched Rectangle to die cut it out and added a Poppy Parade mat. The poppies behind it and the butterfly were from the Poppy Garden Embossed Die Cuts adding a beautiful gloss and dimension. The other embossed element was the “blossom” tag from the Poppy Garden Tags & Tickets Embossed Die Cuts by Paper Roses.
All that was left was to add some sparkle with a scattering of red rhinestones.

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy New Year! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Elegantly Blue 2026 Calendars using the Online Exclusive Fragrant Layers Bundle and the December Product of the Month, True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up! I wanted to send a thank you to my customers who placed orders in 2025 and thought using the December Product of the Month would create a lovely thank you.
My Calendars
Love the monochromatic colours and beautiful floral patterns of the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper! This DSP is only available for a limited time. Once it’s sold out, it’s gone forever! Can be unlocked for just $5 with a single order over $100 (after discounts and rewards).
The Details of My Elegantly Blue 2026 Calendars
For my calendars, I decided to create one design with different papers from the DSP. Since the DSP is monochromatic, it helped with my colour pallet of Basic White, Night of Navy and a touch of Balmy Blue.
Small Floral Calendar
Once I decided on the colours, it was time to decide on the elements. So, I went with the new Online Exclusive Fragrant Layers Bundle. I love this Bundle with it’s gorgeous floral dies especially the floral clusters! Perfect for my elegant theme!
Medium Floral Calendar
Next, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy on the right of the Basic White scrap leaving space for a Night of Navy flower. I die cut the frame out twice. Once for the stamped sentiment and once in Balmy Blue for the frame. This added the perfect pop of Balmy Blue colour to distinguish it from the background elements.
Large Floral Calendar
To anchor my focal point, I embossed a Night of Navy banner with the new Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. This added an elegant, subtle texture to my calendar with its classic stripe pattern.
Finally, a scattering of Rhinestone Basic Jewels around my sentiment added a bit of sparkle to my elegant look.
Hello Crafty Friends! Merry Christmas! It’s Laurie here with my last card for 2025! I am sharing my Molly’s Pawfect Christmas Card as my Design Team Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using Molly with long ear dog from Molly’s Pawfect Christmas. This purchase includes 4 stamps:

Title 2: Molly’s Pawfect Christmas – without wagon – long dog ears
Title 3: Molly’s Pawfect Christmas – short dog ears
Title 4: Molly’s Pawfect Christmas – without wagon – short dog ears
Details of My Molly’s Pawfect Christmas Card
For my card, I coloured Molly and her sweet puppy with my Copic markers. I love the puppy all dressed up with antlers and a bell on his collar! Since I thought the puppy looked like mine, I decided to colour him to look like Jesse and I coloured Molly to look like me when I was little. I added Gold Gelly Roll Pen to the puppy’s bell on his collar and to the poinsettia’s centre. Then, I used Star Dust Stickles on the snow, Molly’ earmuffs, mitten trim and polka dots on her hair ribbons.
I decided to use the Merry Little Christmas papers since the snowflakes and poinsettia paper went so well with the image and my theme.
To add even more sparkle to my card, I added a glimmery die cut snowflake border to the top with individually punched snowflakes scattered here and there. I even added glimmery snowflakes to the die cut mittens! The paper poinsettia was a perfect embellishment for my card and balanced the glimmery Real Red “merry” word die!
The finishing touch was to add some red rhinestones for even more sparkle! You can never have too much sparkle on a Christmas card! Lol!
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Wicked Halloween Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using Sunflower Witch from the Sunflower Witch/Sunflower Isabella. This Bundle includes 4 images:
Title 1: Sunflower Isabella Left
Title 2: Sunflower Isabella Right
Title 3: Sunflower Witch Left
Title 4: Sunflower Witch Right
The Details of My Wicked Halloween Card
Since Halloween is this week, I decided to use Sunflower Witch for my card. I love Sunflower Isabella as well! I may have to make a card with her as some point! Lol!
First, I coloured my Sunflower Witch with my Copic Markers. I thought red hair would work well with my paper choice. The sunflower papers by Crafters Companion were perfect for the theme of my card! Two strips of black glimmer paper really added some spooktacular sparkle to my card.
Since my witch was so large, I decided to create her as my focal point and layered different things behind her. I started with a spider web doily, added a broom with a “Wicked” Quote Chip and a paper sunflower.
Glossy Accents were added to the berries and Star Dust Stickles to the daisies’ flower centres. The finishing touch was to add some Black Rhinestones for sparkle.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Elegant Thank You Card using the Textured Notes Bundle by Stampin’ Up! This is my second card using this Bundle and I decided to create another elegant black, white and gray card to match the DSP. I will post my other card at the end of this post. This DSP is currently on the Last Chance List. So, get it while you can!
The Details of My Elegant Thank You Card
For my card, I stamped the woven wicker circle in Smokey Slate and punched it out with the 1 ¾” punch. Then, I punched out a piece of the dark leafy DSP with the same punch.
I embossed a piece of Basic Black with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. To add some texture, I took a strip of Smokey Slate and tore it along the edge. The Smokey Slate Two-Tone Cardstock would look awesome here, but I didn’t have it.
Next, I heat embossed in white the sentiment and die cut it out with the long thin die from the Textured Notes Dies. I also used this die to die cut another strip of DSP that I layered behind the sentiment.
Once that was done, I layered a piece of white leafy DSP behind my focal point with a border of Smokey Slate that I die cut with the Textured Notes Dies. All this was layered onto a Basic Black card base.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Neutral Matte Dots in black and white and a bow using the White Woven Ribbon.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing the second set of my Farmhouse Florals Alternative Cards using the Floral Farmhouse August 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I made a total of 8 alternatives and thought to split them into 2 posts. So, I decided to group all the typewriter cards together for my second post. I will link the other post at the end.
But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. The Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin brings a playful twist to classic blooms, featuring hand-painted flowers arranged in unexpected places. These versatile cards are perfect for thank-you notes or sending sweet messages any time of year. With whimsical designs full of rustic character, each card feels like a little surprise!

The Details of My Farmhouse Florals Alternative Cards – Set 2
My Z-Fold Flip-Flap Card
For my first alternative card of this set, I created a z-fold card with a flip-flap on the front. Since the typewriter was small, I thought a small flip-flap would be a good way to highlight it. I used my Subtles Embossing Folder to emboss the front of the card base and then folded it in half at 2-1/8”.
Once that was time, it was time to build my focal point. I used the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper for another card and decided to use it again to with a Secret Sea mat to anchor my flip-flap. This DSP goes perfectly with the Kit!
My Z-Fold Flip-Flap Card
For the flip-flap, I used a 3” Lost Lagoon Card base on which I added a piece of Secret Sea that was embossed with the Subtles Folder. On the front, I used the Circle of Seasons Dies for the circle cut from an envelope, the Lost Lagoon “hello” and the Calypso Coral flowers.
For the inside, I stamped a piece of envelope, matted it with Secret Sea and added a strip of the printed envelope for my background. Upon this, I added the typewriter with the stamped Just a note. For a pop of colour, I added the yellow flowers.
Inside Flip-Flap
Next, I added a stamped piece on the inside using scraps from an envelope and a Lost Lagoon mat. I made this the same size at the front so that it was a surprise when it was opened.
Inside of Card
The finishing touch was to add some small pearls to the centre of my flowers on the front.

My Love Note Card
For my second alternative card using the Farmhouse Florals Kit, I decided to create a card using one of the typewriter card bases from the kit. The printed card bases allowed me to create 4 alternative cards instead of the 2 cards left in the kit. Have to love when you can make more cards by just adding some card stock to the existing kit!
My Love Note Card
I trimmed down the card base from the kit to fit it onto my Lost Lagoon card base. I added a small border of Secret Sea to the top of my card to balance out the bottom printed border. Next, I added the “hello” from the Circle of Seasons Dies. To give it dimension, I die cut it 3 times and glued them together. I thought adding it to where the paper in the typewriter was, gave it a whimsical touch. I stamped the sentiment and tied it with the twine through the “o” of the “hello”. The only other thing was to add some of the floral clusters pre-cut pieces around the “hello”.
Measurements:
Lost Lagoon Card base:
5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Secret Sea:

My Pop-Up Lunch Note Card
For my next alternative card using Farmhouse Foral August 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a Pop-Up Lunch Note Card. I shared this card at the beginning of September when school was starting as something to pop into a lunch bucket for the first day of school. It was a big hit, and I was asked for measurements. So, I thought I would add it to my list of cards.
My Pop-Up Lunch Note Card
This card is very similar to the Flip-Flap of my first card, but this card came first! Lol! I used my Subtles Folder to emboss the Lost Lagoon on the front. Next, I added the die cut circle using scraps from an envelope, the Secret Sea die cut “hello”, the stamped sentiment and yellow flowers with the twine.
Inside of Card
For the inside, I thought a fun pop-up typewriter with an encouraging sentiment from the Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set would be fun! I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of white envelope and added a scrap of the printed blue envelop to the top. All this was matted onto a piece of Lost Lagoon. Next, I created a very simple mechanism for my typewriter (see measurements below). To add a bit of colour, I used some of the floral pre-cut pieces.
Side View of Card and Mechanism
Measurements:
Secret Sea Card Base:
3” x 6” scored at 3”

My For You Card
For my last alternative card, I decided to make it simple and just add a Darling Duckling “hello”, stamped the sentiments and added my last floral pre-cut piece with a twine bow. Easy Peasy!

The Details of My Farmhouse Florals Alternative Cards – Set 1
My Centre-Step Card
For my first alternative card, I used my favourite fun fold and create a centre-step card! I thought this fold would be a fun way to use the handbag card base with the precut handbag that extended past the centre panel.
The only extra products that I added were the Lost Lagoon card base which was cut and scored according to the template below and the Calypso Coral “hello” using the Circle of Seasons Dies add-on. I die cut the hello three times and glued them together to give it dimension.
Centre-Step Card
For my card, I only used the front of the handbag card base. First, I cut off the bottom of the card base for the bottom panel. The bottom of the handbag from the card base will be seen, but once the precut handbag is added on top, it will be covered up.
Side View of Centre-Step Card
For the centre panel, I figured out where the centre of the card base was and made my measurements going from the inside out. This allowed the floral image to continue onto the side panels. To line up the flowers I had trim the sides down resulting them in being short So, I added a small square of the envelop at the bottom of my side panels to fill in the space.
The finishing touch was to pop-up the handbag, add the flowers and sentiment with twine just like it the original card.
Measurements:
Lost Lagoon Card Base:
11” x 4 ¼” cut/scored according to template below
Centre Panel:
2-1/8” x 4 ½”
2 Side Strips:
7/8” x 3-3/8”
7/8” x 7/8” (envelope)
Bottom Panel:
7/8” x 4-1/8”
Calypso Coral:
Scraps
Other Pieces from Kit:
Handbag Precut Paper Piece
Handbag Handle
Floral Precut Paper Pieces
Sentiment Piece
Twine
My Z-Fold Card
For my second alternative card, I decided to create a z-fold card using the printed part of the envelope for the inside panel. So, I scored the front of the Card Base from the Kit in half at 2-1/8” to create my fold. Then, I used the retired Subtles Embossing Folder to add some interest to the front of my card.
My Z-Fold Card
I loved the window precut piece! So, the only thing I added was a die cut Calypso Coral “Hello” with a stamped sentiment tucked in behind it.
Inside of Z-Fold Card
For the inside, I just trimmed off one of the envelope flaps. I found this added interest and colour to the inside of my card.
A bow made with the twine was all it needed for embellishments.

Card base (from Kit):
4 ¼” x 5 ½” scored at 2-1/8”

My Half-Front Card
For my next Farmhouse Florals Alternative Card using Farmhouse Foral August 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a half-front card.
This card was cased from Laura Seki with a few tweaks from me. Loved how easy it was to create this card! First, I used my retired Subtles Embossing fold on the front again. Then, I cut the front in half and adhered the right side down to the inside card base.
My Half-Front Card
For this card, the only extra product that I used was a piece of the printed envelop behind my sentiment.

My Hello Card
For my final Farmhouse Florals Alternative Card, I had the back of one of the card bases leftover. So, I decided to use it and added a Lost Lagoon card base with the last window pre-cut piece.
My Hello Card
The Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper goes perfectly with the colours. So, I added a piece with a Secret Sea mat to help ground my window. I did some stamping to add interest where the top edge of my DSP ended.
As you might have noticed, I love the Circle of Seasons Dies add-on and used the “Hello” again on this card. I die cut it three times and glued them together. It just adds interest without being over the top!
The finishing touch was the stamped sentiment and a bow from the twine.

Lost Lagoon Card Base:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”

The Details of A Purr-Fect Day Card
This week was the birthday of my Stampin’ Up! Guru who also loves to colour. Her name is Sofi and loves cats! So, I couldn’t resist creating a card with Sophie and her kitty! Sophie also comes with a puppy version if you are not a cat person! I created a card with the puppy version a few years ago and will post it at the end.
I love this sweet image by Conie Fong and had fun colouring it with my Copic markers to match the Belle Fleur papers by Photo Play. Then, I added Wink of Stella to her hair bow and blue trim since you must have sparkle on a birthday card! Lol!
I found this delicate doily in my stash and thought it gave her a perfect backdrop against the die cut green layer. Next, I layered the ribbon swirl so that it seemed to be emerging from behind the green layer. I love that look!
The finishing touch was to add some of my favourite punched hydrangea flowers with pearls around my sentiment and the ribbon swirl.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Faux-Step Hello Card using elements from the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! I have included a downloadable Faux Centre-Step Template at the end of this post that has all the measurements on it.
The Details of My Faux-Step Hello Card
This card was for a swap and since I needed several cards, I had to use different pieces of DSP. Luckily, this paper pack had many beautiful pieces from which to choose. I was able to get two cards from each sheet of DSP.
Two Versions of Card
For my card, I thought a faux-step card would suit the frame from the Gallery Blooms Dies make a pretty focal point almost like a framed piece of art! To make the Basic Beige frame fit onto the easel, I had to trim a little off the top and bottom, but it was so small that it was hardly noticeable. A strip of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper with a Basic Beige mat helped to ground my focal point.
Side View of Card
Next, I used the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White piece that ran the length of the card behind the easel. Loved the subtleness of the design without taking away from the focal point! This was matted with Basic Beige card stock to match the frame.
Version 2 of Card
For the sentiment, I stamped it in Mossy Meadow on Basic White card stock and die cut it with the smallest banner from the Stylish Shaped Dies. Then, I tucked in the stamped Basic Beige floral cluster behind the sentiment.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added a scattering of Pressed Flower Motifs to the embossed inside layer and on the easel of my card.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my My Thankful Hydrangea Card using the Lovely Garden Suite Collection which includes the Thankful Garden Bundle, Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper, Starburst Sequins, and Fresh Freesia Faux Velvet Ribbon by Stampin’ Up! I made this pretty split panel card for a swap.
The Details of My My Thankful Hydrangea Card
The Thankful Garden Bundle comes with masks for the flowers, and I have been wanting to give them a try! So, I used my Blending Brushes and Blueberry Bushel Ink to brush ink onto the different masks of the petals. I used a light touch with the first mask and gradually added more ink and pressure as I went creating lots of dimension. I also, did this with Garden Green for the leaves.
Once I had my flower coloured, I made a couple of extras of the petals and die cut/fussy cut some out which I then added to the top of the flower with dimensionals. Where there was white showing on these extra die cut petals, I brushed ink to help blend them in.
Now, it was time to design my card. Since I decided on a split panel card, I used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder on the front 2 panels to give it interest without taking away from the flower. Next, I added my DSP strip to the inside of my card allowing it to peek out through the gap.
I used the second largest Nested Essentials Die and die cut the DSP for a backdrop to my flower. This also was my anchor between the two front panels. The flower on top also gave this panel extra stability.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it in white on a scrap of Blueberry Bushel and just trimmed it down with my paper snips to fit.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Starburst Sequins.
Supplies:
Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Thankful Garden Stamp Set (165534), Nested Essentials Dies (161597)
Inks: VersaMark Ink (102283), Blueberry Bushel Classic Stampin’ Pad (147138), Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad (147089)

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Christmas Angel Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the beautiful Angel of Christmas Stars.
The Details of My Christmas Angel Card
For my card, I thought a shabby chic look would suit such a traditional stamp! So, I coloured her with my Copic markers in reds and greens and brushed my Vintage Photo Ink along the edges to give it an old-world look.
Once that was done, I used my Gold Gelly Roll Pen on the poinsettia centres and the trim on her dress. Next, I used Glossy Accents on the globe to give it a glass look. Finally, I added some glitter to her wings since all angels should have ethereal looking wings!
I love the beautiful Mintay papers especially the one with the poinsettias to match the angel’s poinsettias. I brushed Vintage Photo Ink onto the Mintay papers to give them the old-world look as well. Next, I tucked in a gold foil die-cut poinsettia cluster off to one side of my focal point to tie in my gold accents.
For the sentiment, I printed out one of the many Christian sentiments from Volume 17 of Sassy’s Cards and Gifts. I then used my laminator to gold foil it and punched it out. Next, I brushed more Vintage Photo Ink to it to give it an old-world look. I then matted it with a Real Red die-cut stitched circle.
To balance the sentiment, I added on the opposite side, a corner sprig from the Mintay die-cuts that matched my paper. On top of that, I added a beautiful paper poinsettia with golden accents to tie in the angel’s poinsettias.
The finishing touch was to add some red rhinestones and gold glimmer dots around the sentiment for sparkle.
