Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Birthday Wish Card using the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! I wanted to try a book binding card, and I thought the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper would make a very pretty card.
The Details of My Birthday Wish Card
For my card, I used two different pieces of DSP for the “binding” and the “cover”. Since it was a birthday card, I decided to use the birthday cake piece and the pink plaid with Basic White mats to distinguish them from the Pretty in Pink card base.
Next, to match the gold accents in the DSP, I heat embossed the sentiment on the Basic White flag. Then, I added two DSP flags and one of the floral die cuts to decorate it. I love that the die cuts make it so easy to decorate your cards! In fact, I made another card with the same style, but added a large floral die cut to the bottom of the flag. Since my cards were for a swap, I didn’t have enough of these die cuts for all of them. So, for my finished card, I omitted it.
Alternative Card
To create my banner, I added a few more flags behind my sentiment flag and had everything hung from a Basic White die cut “rope” that I trimmed with my Paper Snips to fit.
To decorate my card further, I used the Gold Open Weave Trim to match my embossing. The width of the trim just fit, but I thought a White Baker’s Twine bow would help keep it in place.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Party Dots in matching colours to my card on and below my flag sentiment.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Hello Spring Alternative Cards using the Hello Spring February 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I am so over winter and ready for Spring. So, these cards helped to put me in the mood for new growth and warmer weather. I had so much fun with this Kit that I made 4 cards including a slimline quad fold pocket card and a triple panel bridge card!
But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. Perfect for this time of year in their bright cheery colours!
Hello Spring February 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit
The Details of My Hello Spring Alternative Cards
My Slimline Quad Fold Card
For my first alternative card, I thought it would be fun to create a slimline card with pockets into which the seed cards would fit. I even used the Grow with Love Dies to cut down one of the envelopes that came in the kit to create an envelope for my Chives card.
My Slimline Quad Fold Card
For the front, I used the leftover pieces from two envelopes (see Card 4 for second leftover piece) to create some interest behind my Bronze Foil Piece. I thought a bouquet of herbs sprouting from the sentiment would be fun! I used a 1 ½” circle punch to punch out a Basic Beige circle from the Bronze Foil Piece and matted it behind the sentiment. Since the herbs were in front of it, you couldn’t see the missing part. Finally, I added a bee from the Spring Is in the Air Dies.
My Slimline Quad Fold Card Laid Flat
For the inside, I used two card bases to line my pockets. More bees and honeycomb from the Spring Is in the Air Dies decorated the inside along with a sentiment.
The finishing touch was the linen wrapped three times around the card to hold it closed and tied in a bow.
Measurements:
Basic White Card Base:
8” x 12” – scored at 3”, 6”, 9” along 12” side and 5 ½” along 8” side
Scraps for bees and honeycomb
Blue Card Base (3 pieces):
2-7/8” x 3 ½”
Green Card Base (3 pieces):
2-3/8” x 2-7/8”
Envelope Leftovers (2 pieces):
5” x 2-3/8”
Other Pieces from Kit:
Herb Precut Paper Pieces
Herb Cards
Bronze Foil Piece
Sentiment Pieces
Linen Thread
Seed Packet Envelope
My Triple Panel Card
For my second alternative card using the Hello February 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a triple panel card. I love it when the card is closed, and the insides are hidden creating a nice surprise as the recipient opens the card!
My Triple Panel Card
So, I cut the green card base at 1” on either side to create the struts to which the bridge will be adhered. The larger Bronze Foil Piece from the kit fitted the bridge perfectly! Then, using the scraps from the precut paper pieces, I stamped and die cut the flower heads and another bee from the Spring Is in the Air Dies.
For the middle panel, I punched a 1 ½” circle from another Bronze Foil Piece and layered it behind my sentiment and the mint precut paper piece.
Middle Panel of Triple Panel Card
For the final panel, I stamped the textured stamped multiple time in Petunia Pop on Petunia Pop card stock for a tone-on-tone look. Then, I layered the smaller Bronze Foil Piece with the basil precut paper piece leaving room for a message.
Last Panel of Triple Panel Card

Petunia Pop:

Other Pieces from Kit:

Bronze Foil Pieces
Green Diagonal Strip Piece
Sentiment Pieces
My Happy Easter Card
For my next alternative card, I decided to use the green card base scrap left over from another card. This created a nice band on the left side.
My Happy Easter Card
For my focal point, I layered several elements from the Kit. Again, I used my 1 ½” punch to punch a circle from the Bronze Foil Piece making sure to have it on the left side and hidden by the Chives card.
Next, I stamped and die cut the flower heads and another bee from the Spring Is in the Air Dies. I just love these dies, especially that bee!
Measurements:
Green Card base:
2 ½” x 4 ¼”
Basic White:
Scraps for Bees and Flower Heads
Other Pieces from Kit:
Blue Card Base
Chives Card
Bronze Foil Piece
Sentiment Pieces
Linen Thread
My Happy Easter Pocket Card
For my last alternative card, I decided it would be fun to die cut another mini envelope from the seed packet envelopes (use the scraps from this one for the Slimline Quad Fold Card) and have the herbs sprouting from it.
My Happy Easter Pocket Card
So, I used the used the Grow with Love Dies to create my envelope. The Beige fastener was die cut from leftover scraps of the envelope.
I stamped the sentiment and added a Bubble Bath mat to it. To match the mat, I die cut another butterfly using the Spring Is in the Air Dies, but this time in Bubble Bath.
I decided to only stamp and die cut one flower hear to give the image dimension to it.

Scraps for Bee
Other Pieces from Kit:

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Butterfly Wishes Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the Butterfly Wishes image from the Butterfly Wishes Kisses Bundle. She is perfect for those birthday cards we all need! This purchase includes 2 Images:
Title1: Butterfly Wishes
Title2: Butterfly Kisses
The Details of My Butterfly Wishes Card
I had a lot of fun colouring the Butterfly Wishes image from the bundle with my Copic markers to match my Mintay paper. I thought the Peony Garden paper suited the image since she had peonies in her hair. Finally, I added Wink of Stella to the butterflies to make them shimmer and Glossy Accents to the candle flame.
For my card, I decided to go with a faux-step card so that the beautiful Mintay paper can be visible on the background layer, even behind my focal point. I had a scrap of that paper left over. So, I trimmed it down, turned it over, and added to my front panel where the sentiment was located. Next, I tucked in a Butterfly Border behind this panel since it was perfect for my butterfly motif and added a fun whimsical feel.
Faux-Step Side View
For the birthday sentiment, I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System (a new toy!) and die cut it out. Then I fussy cut the tea cup and two of the butterflies from the Mintay paper. I love that these images match the papers! I tucked in the sentiment and one of the butterflies around the tea cup to create my sentiment cluster. The other butterfly was added to the top left of my coloured image so that it hung over the edge between the layers.
The finishing touch was a scattering of rhinestones to add even more sparkle to my card.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Beautiful Day Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the stunning Bella Rose. This purchase includes 4 Images:
Bella Rose Left (girl facing left in JPEG format)
Bella Rose Right (girl facing right in JPEG format)
Rose Bonus image JPEG
Rose Bonus image PNG
The Details of My Beautiful Day Card
For my card, I decided to go with a soft vintage Victorian theme and the Stamperia paper was perfect for it! The paper is so pretty with its roses and vintage wallpaper designs! There was one piece that had a circle with roses in it that suited Bella Rose! Since I wanted to add layers to my card, I used my Paper Snips to cut out the circle part to use for my focal point.
But first, I coloured Bella Rose with my Copic markers in soft colours to match my theme. I even added glitter to the roses in her hair to make them shimmer. I positioned Bella on the circle so that the rose on the layer below peeked through…almost like she was smelling the rose.
Next, I decided to create a rose gold foiled sentiment with a matching rose gold stitched mat. So, I used my laser printer and printed out a pretty scripty sentiment. Then, I foiled it using my laminator. This is something new to me and I hope to do more of it! Once this was done, I punched it out with a circle punch and added my mat.
To balance out my card, I used a tag that I tucked in behind my focal point opposite Bella. Then, I tucked in a beautiful detail rose die cut from Paper Roses on top of the tag. I thought the die cut roses matched the roses in Bella’s hair beautifully!
Finally, to add to the Vintage Victorian theme, I used some wide lace ribbon in a soft cream colour. To mirror this, I added three material roses in a matching colour opposite Bella on the circle.
The finishing touch was a scattering of sequins that matched my colour scheme and added sparkle to my card.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Poppin’ Up! 2025 Calendars using the Terrific Toadstools Bundle and three Sale-a-Bration items including the Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins and, the Starstruck Embossing Folder by Stampin’ Up! Canada Post went on strike right before Christmas and no Christmas cards were mailed. So, instead, I decided to send calendars again this year. I made 20 calendars for my customers.
20 Calendars!
The Details of My Poppin’ Up! 2025 Calendars
For my calendars, I decided to create one design with different colours of DSP. I matched the card stock colours to the DSP colours trying different colours together. I ended up using Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. I’m not a Melon Mambo person…so, these colours were out of my comfort zone. Lol!
Calendar #1 with White Background DSP
Once I decided on the colours, I stamped the mushrooms in Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo and punched them out with the matching punch. I decided to keep the stems simple with just punched out Crumb Cake card stock.
Calendar #2 with Green background DSP
Next, I stamped the sentiment in black and die cut it out with the large flag from the Stylish Shaped Dies.
To add interest to the Melon Mambo banner, I embossed it with the free Sale-a-Bration Starstruck Embossing Folder.
Calendar #3 with Pink Background DSP
Time to assemble all the layers of the banner. I added a stitched circle behind my mushrooms and tucked in my sentiment. Then, I layered the embossed banner piece behind everything.
Next, I added a Melon Mambo mat to the calendar and adhered it to the base.
Finally, I added some of the free Sale-a-Bration Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins around my focal point.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Birthday Treat Card using the sweet Daisy and Me by Mo’s Digital Pencil. I have a birthday twin whose birthday is the same day as mine! She loves her dogs and when I saw this new digital stamp, I knew it was perfect for her birthday card!
The Details of My Birthday Treat Card
For my card, I decided to create a Z-fold card so that I could decorate all the panels with the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up! The ready-to-use die cuts that are included in the DSP were perfect for my birthday theme!
But first, I coloured with my Copic markers the dog and girl to look like my friend and her dog, Rocky! He has very distinctive marking including eyebrows! Lol. I added Glossy Accents to her phone and Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to the heart tag on Rocky’s collar.
Z-Fold
To add to the birthday celebrations, I used the Birthday Celebration Dies by Stampin’ Up!, as well as, a bow Corner Die from Memory Box on the front panel of the card. The cupcake was from the DSP ready-to-use die cuts and matched my colour scheme perfectly!
The sentiment was from the retired Pampered Pets Stamp Set and stamped in Blueberry Bushel before die cutting it with one of the Unbounded Love Dies.
Inside Panels of Card
For the inside, I decorated the panels with the DSP and die-cuts. Don’t you love that cake and banner! So festive! The inside sentiment was from the Throughout the Year Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! and stamped in Blueberry Bushel as well. A floral die cut was the finishing touch to the sentiment panel.
For embellishments, I added some Party Dots on the front to matched my colour scheme.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Sweet Valentine Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the beautiful Isabella Blossoms. This purchase includes 2 Images with girl facing right and left.
The Details of My Sweet Valentine Card
Valentine’ Day is coming up! So, I thought I would create a Valentine card with this beautiful lady. I coloured her in pinks and reds to match the Art Options Rouge Paper by 49 and Market. Love this paper and the matching Chipboard Elements! The paper has a lot of texture and design to it already. Therefore, my card didn’t need much to finished it off! Card making made easy!
Since my card was for Valentine’s Day, I pulled out a heart lace doily as a backdrop to my focal point. Then, I layered several chipboard elements to create my sentiment beside Isabella. I also added the “XOXO” chipboard flag at the top of my card.
Next, I added Clear Star Gelly roll pen to the centre of the flowers for sparkle. To soften the look, I lightly touched the centres with my finger to remove some of the gel. I also added Glossy Accents to the green pearls in her hair.
The finishing touch was a scattering of sequins and rhinestones that matched my colour scheme.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Delightful Birthday Card using theFloral Delight Suite Collection from the new Stampin’ Up! 2025 Mini Catalogue. I have 6 family birthdays all within a week coming up at the end of January. So, I am in birthday card mode! One card done…just 5 more to go! Lol!
The Details of My Delightful Birthday Card
My card was for a demonstrator swap using new products from the January – April 2025 Mini Catalogue. So, I decided to use the beautiful Floral Delight Suite Collection. I just love the bright and cheery colours of the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, ready to be used on cards and scrapbook pages for a touch of spring, summer, or autumn.
For my card, I decided to create a Z-fold card with the DSP on the front panel and an Eyelet Embossed Basic White piece on the inside, but still visible when the card was closed. The embossed piece added interest while not detracting from the focal point.
Top of Z-Fold
For the focal point, I decided to layer two circles from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I thought that the delicate edging of the Daffodil Delight piece coordinated well with the embossed eyelet piece.
The Delightful Wishes Stamp Set is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colours you want. So, I used Daffodil Delight Ink to stamp the outline image first. I found that doing this first helped to line up the Lemon Lolly stamped main image. Next, I stamped the leaves in Old Olive to add some colour. I love the way this turned out creating a soft look behind the sentiments.
Card Standing Up
Next, for the sentiment, I decided to layer the “wishing” die cuts to create dimension with the Old Olive stamped sentiment nestled below.
Finally, as a finishing touch, I added a scattering of the sweet Tiny Bee Trinkets around my sentiment and on the Eyelet Embossed piece. A perfect accent to my card!
Supplies:
Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Delightful Wishes Bundle (164710), Spotlight on Nature Dies (163580)
Inks: Olive Classic Classic Stampin’ Pad (147090), Lemon Lolly Classic Stampin’ Pad (161666), Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad (147094)

The Details of My On Point Birthday Card
I just loved these cute Kawaiis with the eyes that I decided to colour the Cactus Succulent Arrangement Kawaii twice in different colours. One was for a friend’s birthday who loves succulents and the other was for a colour challenge at Kendra’s Card Challenges.
My Colouring of the Cactus Succulent Arrangement Kawaii
For my friend’s birthday card, I decided to use bright cheery colours for my colouring. I had a lot of fun colouring the succulent in two different tones of colours! I even gave the pot a variegated look! Lots of techniques from which to play!
I used the retired Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up since it was perfect for the stamp. To create my focal point, I added some die cut succulents and aloe around my coloured stamp. These dies cuts were brushed with matching inks for a tone-on-tone look, but still added dimension. In addition to this, I used a roller-ball stylus in the centre of the succulents to make them pop up.
Don’t you just love the sentiment! What a hoot! And I knew my friend would get a kick out of it!
Finally, the finishing touches were rhinestones in the centre of the succulents and a strip of sheer ribbon.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Peace & Joy Christmas Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using Molly Cutie from the Molly Winter Bundle. This Bundle includes 4 digital stamps:
Molly’s Winter Friends
Molly’s Joy
Molly Cutie
Molly Cutie Without Birdie
The Details of My Peace & Joy Christmas Card
I checked and this was my fourth time colouring different variations of this stamp! Lol! It is obviously one of my favourites of Conie Fong! The other three were before I was on Conie’s Design Team, and I will include them at the end of this post.
For my card, I had this gorgeous Merry Little Christmas Paper Collection by Paper Rose. So, I decided to use the piece that had the cardinal on it since I coloured the birdie as a cardinal this time. I also used the paper for the sentiment banner with the wood and Christmas word tickets.
The sentiment was foil embossed in gold with my laminator and gold foil. This is something that I have discovered recently and plan to do more often! So fun! I backed the foiled sentiment with a stitched circle from the red paper in the Collection. Tip: I die cut it out of the centre of the red mat that is behind my floral piece. Since you do not see it, it saved on paper.
The poinsettias were hand punched and assembled with gold glitter dots to mirror the poinsettia in the paper.
I had some punched glittery snowflakes on my desk from another card. So, I added them for interest.
Finally, for sparkle, I added some red rhinestones around her, as well as Star Dust Stickles to Molly’s and the bird’s pompoms. Clear Star gelly roll was added to the flowers on her dress with white gelly roll added to the polka dots on her scarf and gold gelly roll to her buttons. Glossy Accents was added to the berries that the birdie is carrying. You can never have too much sparkle on a Christmas card! Lol!

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Celebrate Christmas Card using the Warms My Heart Stamp Set and the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!
The Details of My Celebrate Christmas Card
My card was for a swap with other demonstrators, and I thought it would be fun to pull out my Blends to colour the wreath girl from the Warms My Heart Stamp Set. I was inspired by the card with the pumpkin girl that was in the Mini Catalogue, but I made it my own by changing it up and using only the dies.
For my card, I coloured the girl with colours that I pulled from the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper that I used for one of the panels. I made two versions of the card depending on what DSP I had available.
My Different Version of the Card
For the sentiment, I pulled out the Christmas Labels Bundle and stamped it in Poppy Parade to match the card stock.
To add some interest to the background, I embossed the Old Olive card stock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
As a finishing touch to my card, I used my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend to colour some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and added them to my card.
Supplies:

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Warm Winter Wishes Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using Sally and Little Squirrel.
The Details of My Warm Winter Wishes Card
This stamp was one of the first stamps by Conie Fong Art & Design that I bought! I just loved Sally with her little friend, and I knew that I wanted to colour her with some of my favourite Copic marker combos!
I had this gorgeous Ciao Bella Paper that I thought would be a perfect background for her! So, I decided to make a slimline card that would show as much of the wintery scene as possible including the house.
To tie in the pinks, I went with some Rose Red card stock on which I layered vellum with silver foiled snowflakes to tie in the wintery feeling of my card.
For my sentiment cluster, I layered several flags with the different papers that I used on my card. A wooden snowflake and some linen thread add to the rustic feel of my wintery scene.
Finally, for sparkle, I added some Balmy Blue punched snowflakes to my scene, as well as Star Dust Stickles to Sally’s hat’s pompom and the snow that she is standing on. Clear Wink of Stella was used on the flower on her hat and Clear Star to the polka dots on her scarf.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Hello Fabulous Birthday Card using Fedora By Krista Smith Stamps. I was commissioned to create a custom birthday card for a friend’s daughter.
The Details of My Hello Fabulous Birthday Card
My friend mentioned a few things to help guide me in my design such as her daughter’s favourite colour is purple and that she is into fashion. So, for my card, I went through my Krista Smith Stamps and Fedora was the one that was chosen by my friend! I knew Krista would have a stamp that would suit the daughter’s style perfectly!
So, I coloured the stamp with my Copic markers in purples and blacks to suit the daughter’s taste. I added a pop of colour with the green feather on the fedora. Next, I added some Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to the feather and smooshed it with my finger before it dried to give the feather a soft shimmer. Gold Gelly Roll Pen was used on her earring to add some sparkle and White Gelly Roll Pen was dotted on her bottom lip to indicate the shine of lip gloss.
The Design Aspects of My Card
Once she was coloured, I discovered that the Best Dressed DSP was perfect for my colours and theme. I used the shoes DSP on one layer, the perfume DSP on the next layer and the handbags DSP within the frame. The DSP even had purple roses to match my single purple flower embellishment.
Next, I knew that I wanted to add a frame around her, and I thought the Oval Coronet Dies by Spellbinders was very elegant. I thought it would be fun having her popping out of the white frame with the handbags behind her.
For my sentiment cluster, I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and die cut it out. I added a Blackberry Bliss scallop edge to the bottom of the sentiment. Then, I added a green feather to mirror the feather in her fedora and a purple rose. Finally, I fussy cut a perfume bottle from the DSP and tucked it behind the sentiment.
To add some texture and interest, I added some black netting that I bought at a local fabric store. I thought it really added to the fashion theme of my card!
Finally, the finishing touch was a scattering of rhinestones for some sparkle, especially since you need sparkle on a birthday card!

The Details of My Aloe Sweet Friend Card
I just loved these cute Kawaiis with the eyes that I decided to colour the Cactus Succulent Arrangement Kawaii twice in different colours. One was for a friend’s birthday who loves succulents and the other was for a colour challenge at Kendra’s Card Challenges.
My Colouring of the Cactus Succulent Arrangement Kawaii
For the colour challenge card, I used Copic marker combos that would be like the colours listed below. Kendra had succulent and cactus digital papers that you could download with the colours for the challenge, but in the end, I decided to use Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper instead.
Kendra’s Card Challenge – Color Challenge
The Potted Succulent Dies had a beautiful detailed outline die that covered the whole card front. So, I decided to use it with the DSP peeking out from under it. Since this piece was so detailed, I didn’t add a lot to my card, other than the focal point and the sentiments.
I used the largest Stylish Shaped circle die to add a circle from the DSP and placed it behind my image to anchor it. The sentiments were also die cut from the Stylish Shaped Dies. I added Calypso Coral frames from the Potted Succulents Dies to the sentiments to help distinguish them from the background.
Don’t you just love the pun of the sentiment, “Aloe Sweet Friend” which comes with the Bundle. For the other sentiment, I typed it on my computer, printed it and die cut it out.
Finally, the finishing touch was a scattering of Calypso Coral sequins around my focal point.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Time for Cake Alternative Cards using the August Time for Cake Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I created three alternative cards using the Kit. Two fun folds and a regular card. But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. Perfect for those birthday cards that everyone needs!

The Details of My Time for Cake Alternative Cards
Make a Wish Card
Make a Wish Card
For my first alternative card, I decided to create a Thick Basic White card base with the floral Night of Navy card base adhered to it. I trimmed down the candles DSP to fit on my card front and added a Pretty in Pink mat to one side.
Close Up of Focal Point
I couldn’t resist cutting apart one of the Pretty in Pink envelopes to use as a strip on my card! I turned the tag over to stamp on the white side and added a candle over the hole to hide it. The other sentiment was stamped on the Pretty in Pink piece from the cake card. Finally, I added some Rhinestone Jewels to the candle flames for sparkle.
Measurements:
Basic White Card Base:
8 ½” x 4 ¼”
Pretty In Pink Mat:
2” x 4”
Candle DSP:
3” x 3 ¾”

Other Pieces from Kit:

Triple Fold Bridge Card
For my second alternative card using the Time for Cake August 2024 Paper Pumpkin, I made a triple fold bridge card! Love the free stamp set with the numbers! Perfect for those special milestone birthdays!
Triple Fold Bridge Card
I took the Petal Pink card base and cut 1” on either side up to the card fold to create three panels.
For the front, I used part of the candle DSP and stamped 80th on it from the free stamp set. This was matted with Night of Navy and then a strip of Pretty in Pink was added to make sure that this bridge was securely in place.
Close Up of Focal Point
Next, I stamped the Happy birthday sentiment on the banner. To make the banner stand out from the white in the background, I sponged Pretty in Pink onto the edges. The Hooray was die cut from some Rose Gold Foil that I had from another project. The finishing touch was some Rhinestone Jewels to the candle flames for sparkle.
Inside Panel of Card
Now that the front was decorated, it was time to decorate the inside panel. I used half of the balloon DSP from the Kit and matted it with Night of Navy. Since the balloons had a white space in the centre, it was the perfect place to add my sentiment. I love that the sides of inside layer of the card can be seen before you open it!
Inside of Card
For the inside of the card, I used strips of the envelope DSP from the previous card to add borders to a Basic White piece. These were both matted with Night of Navy. The sentiment was stamped, and a candle added.

Pop-up Box Card
Here is my last alternative card using the Time for Cake August 2024 Paper Pumpkin, I made a fun pop-up box card that is sure to impress!
Pop-up Box Card
For my card, I thought it would be fun to have the balloons suspended over a box! To make my card, I used a lot of bits from the different cards and envelopes, but it was well worth it!
So, I created the box according to the measurements below and added the tabs for the balloons on the inside. Note: adhere the tabs to one side of box. Then, adhere to the other side of tabs and box tab. Fold flat and tuck in the tabs so that they adhere to the other side of box.
I used the Candle DSP to decorate the top flaps. For the front flap, I added the banner and two candles. Unfortunately, the banner does stick out when the card is folded down. So, I had to use a larger envelope for it.
View of the Balloons
Next, I used pieces of an envelope to decorate the outside of the box. You could decorate the top outside flaps too, but I decided not to since I didn’t want to use another envelope.
The balloon DSP was left over from the other card, and I trimmed it down to fit.
Top View
For the balloons, I used a thin strip of Window Sheet that I adhered to the balloons and to the tabs. I made sure to hold them in place while the glue set. I placed the larger balloon at the back with the smaller ones at a slight angle in front of it. Note: make sure that when the card is closed that the balloons do not extend above the card top or sides.

The final piece was the stamped Basic White piece for the message.
