The Details of My Bunny Wishes Card
Easter is this weekend, but not everyone celebrates it. So, I thought I would make a versatile card that can be used for Easter, Mother’s Day, a birthday or a thinking of you.
First, I coloured this cutie with my Copic markers to match the Bunnies & Blooms papers. Such pretty papers with their muted colours and Easter themes! To add to the muted colours, I brushed some Vintage Photo Ink on the edges of the papers and the sentiment which was die cut with the largest flag die from the Stylish Shapes.
Next, I layered him onto a die cut Old Olive Daisy Circle. Perfect to mirror the daisies in the bunny’s arms! A die cut circle with eggs on it from the paper pack was layered behind him. The “Celebrate” sticker was added with a puffy heart to finish off my focal point.
A couple of puffy stickers on either side of my sentiment tied in the muted colour scheme and added interest.

The Details of My Bee-cuz I Said Hi!
I loved this cutie and had fun colouring him with my Copic markers! In fact, I used a technique where I added some Colourless Blender to an old towel and then dab it to the coloured image. This created a textured effect that looked like fur. I just needed to make sure I didn’t over saturate the towel and press too long. Otherwise the ink might bleed out of the lines.
Colourless Blender Fur Technique
Once he was coloured, I used a stencil, Pool Party Ink and my Blending Brushed to create clouds around him. For the bee’s flight pattern, I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen to make it shimmer. Then, I die cut him out with layered Stitched Dies with a Pool Party Mat.
The Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper was perfect for my bee theme. And I loved the bright colours! Reminded me that Spring is just around the corner!
The printed sentiment was trimmed down and matted with a Petunia Pop mat. To balance the sentiment, I added some stitched honeycomb dies in the opposite corner with another one behind the sentiment.
A finishing touch was a scattering of Mini Bee Trinkets.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Floral Bridge Card using the Fragrant Layers Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I decide to make a triple panel bridge card to show off the beautiful die cuts from the Fragrant Layers Dies. Don’t you just love it when the card is closed, and the insides are hidden creating a nice surprise as the recipient opens the card!
The Details of My Floral Bridge Card
For my card, I wanted to showcase the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper with its metallic gold foil details.
First, I created the card base and cut it according to the measurements below. I went with larger side panels since I didn’t want too much space on either side of my central die cut panel. Plus, the “floral bridge” limited how wide it could be too.
Close Up of Focal Point
I thought it would be a fun bridge if I used the largest solid floral to join my two side panels! Old Olive leaves tie in the DSP colours and added some interest.
The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive and die cut using the flag in the die set.
For the central panel, I used the background floral die and layered the Lovely & Beautiful DSP behind it. Love that it peeks through!
Second Panel inside Card
For the inside, I love how the gold accents on the DSP are revealed as you open the card! A Basic White message piece was stamped in Peach Pie and added to the card base.
Third Panel Inside Card
A scattering of Pearlized Faceted Circles added some sparkle to the front.
Instructions:
Score and cut card base.
Die cut the central panel with the background floral die
Embossed the Basic White panels with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and adhere to side panels
Using a strong glue, like liquid glue, adhere the Peach Pie floral die cut to side panels. Tuck in Old Olive leaves.
Stamp sentiment and pop up
Adhere the DSP to the back of the central panel
Stamp flower on inside Basic White piece and adhere making sure to line up with the DSP

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Swing Fun Fold Card using the Nature’s Symphony Bundle and the Textured Notes Dies by Stampin’ Up! I made a similar fun fold card using the Stampin’ Up! Advent Calendar products and it was a huge hit on my Stamp with Laurie Facebook Group. So, I decided to use current products to create a masculine card that is sure to wow.
The Textured Notes Dies are on the Last Chance List. So, if you don’t have them now is the time to get them!
Stepped-Up Swing Version
I also made a Stepped-Up Swing Version where I added extra panels behind my focal point.
Avid Swing Card Version
I also used Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the leaves plus mounted the sentiment on a tree bark die cut.
Front of Avid Card
The Details of My Swing Fun Fold Card
For my card, I decided to use the Nature’s Symphony Bundle with the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper to create my masculine version. Perfect for a guy card!
Front of Card Closed
I went with the colour combo of Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and a pop of Old Olive to match the papers. I loved the written DSP and decided to use it for my focal point on the front.
Card Opened
Using the large leafy die, I die cut Old Olive Two-Tone Cardstock and sniped it apart. This allowed me to turn over one of the stems to give a subtle colour variation on the leaves.
Card Showing Inside
When I stamped the inside sentiment in Mossy Meadow, I made sure to stamp on the last panel of the Very Vanilla before adhering it to the card base. I learned that the hard way! Lol! You could also fold the Very Vanilla piece to see where the panel ends to help centre the sentiment. The front sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow and adhered with the branches tucked in behind it.
Top of Card
A finishing touch was to add a scattering of Faux Bronze Pentagons around my focal point.
Instructions:
Use the third largest Textured Notes Die to cut a rectangle in the front of the Mossy Meadow card base and set aside
Score Very Vanilla according to measurements listed below and stamp sentiment
Adhere large Crumb Cake piece to inside of Mossy Meadow card base
Adhere one end of the Very Vanilla to the Crumb Cake making sure there is an equal border on side, top and bottom
Adhere the other end of Very Vanilla to the inside front of card with glue only along fold and 1 ¾” from fold along top and bottom
Adhere thinner Crumb Cake piece to the inside panel beside the sentiment panel and add DSP
Add DSP to the die cut rectangle for front focal point
Close card and adhere the focal point to the right side of the front opening. If tight fit, sand a little off top and bottom.
Add sentiment cluster and leaves to the left side of focal point otherwise they might interfere with opening and closing
Add embellishments

The Details of My Watercolor Thank You Cards
My Twisty Thank You Card
For my card, I used a 5 ½” x 11” Basic White card base and scored it according to the measurements below. Then, I layered a Night of Navy mat with a Shaded Spruce mat. The final layer was the envelope from the Kit trimmed down to fit.
My Twisty Thank You Card
For my focal point, I used a leftover card base from the kit and matted it with Night of Navy. The sentiment was stamped and die cut out with one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies. To add visual interest, I added a Garden Green leafy vine from the Nature’s Symphony Dies and popped up some flowers from the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies. The finishing touch were some copper sequins that came in the kit.
Close Up of Focal Point
Inside of My Twisty Thank You Card
Now, for the inside! I decided to use the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White strips. These were layered onto Shaded Spruce mats.
Inside of Card
Once that was done, it was time to add my tags. I die cut them twice. Once using the card bases and then again with Shaded Spruce and adhered them together. The sentiment was stamped and die cut with a rectangle from the Textured Notes Dies and adhered to the Shaded Spruce side. Some Baker’s Twine from my stash finished them.
Flipped Inside Tags and Sentiments
To adhere them correctly, it is best to have the inside of the card fully opened. This will help to get the sentiment facing the correct way. I learned the hard way! It took me a couple tries before I had it! Lol!
All Inside Sentiments Displayed
Don’t you just love that when you open the card you get the first set of sentiments and then you keep opening and the sentiments flip to see the other side of them. When the card is fully open, you get all three sentiments displayed.

My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
For my next alternative card, I had a number of scraps leftover from my other alternative cards. So, I decided to create this fun fold that is like a card within a card.
My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
I used the negative oval frame from when I made my other cards and layered it onto a Shaded Spruce mat. This is a great way to use up scraps that you would otherwise throw out and extend their use! I stamped the sentiment on an oval from the kit and added some stamped accents to fill the space. A Shaded Spruce flower from the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies was popped up for interest. A scattering of copper sequins from the Kit were added for sparkle.
Close Up of Focal Point
Once the focal point was done, it was time to work on the card base. I used an 8 ¼” x 4 ¼” Basic White card base scored at 5 ½”. For the front flap, I used a Shaded Spruce Mat with the part of the leafy card base. The focal point was popped up on the front flap of the card.
Inside of My Double Flap Fun Fold Card
Inside of Card
For the inside, I used a Shaded Spruce Mat and embossed a Secret Sea piece with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. This created the foundation for my smaller inside card which measured 9” x 3 ¼” and scored at 4 ½”. I decorated the inside card front with another Shaded Spruce mat and a part of the leafy card base from the kit with some die cut Basic White flowers. I stamped the sentiment on a sentiment strip from the kit and layered some leaves and a Secret Sea flower around it.
Inside of Smaller Card
The inside of the smaller card consisted of a Shaded Spruce Mat with a Basic White message area where I stamped the third sentiment. I love that all the sentiments in the Kit go together so well! I added a left over strip of the leafy card front.

My Faux-Step Card
For my next alternative card using the Watercolor in Bloom December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a faux-step card. I shared this in my Facebook Group and there was a lot of interest in it. So, I decided to share it here too.
My Faux-Step Card
First, I measured and scored the two pieces for the card base according to the measurements below. Then, I used the preprinted rectangle piece and trimmed a little off the top and bottom to fit my card. This was matted with a Night of Navy piece. The sentiment was stamped on a rectangle provided in the Kit and decorated like the instructions mentioned.
Side View of Card
Next, I trimmed down an envelope to create my bottom panel which I matted with Night of Navy. I love that the envelopes are printed allowing greater card making capabilities!
Finally, for the inside panel, I used part of a card base provided in the Kit and matted it with Night of Navy.
Supplies:
Stamps: December 2025 Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin Kit
Inks: Night of Navy (In Kit)
Paper: Basic White (166780), Night of Navy (100867)
Accessories: Abundant Joy Add-on Dies, Bone Folder (102300), Stampin’ Dimensionals (In Kit), Adhesive Roll (In Kit), Copper Sequins (In Kit)

Bottom Panel (envelope): 1” x 5 ¼”
Inside Panel (card base from kit): 2 ¾”” x 5 ¼”
My Other Alternative Watercolor Thank You Cards
Here are my other alternative cards that created using the Watercolor in Bloom December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
First, I created a fun centre-step card. I made the focal point for the centre panel as directed in the instructions but adhered it to my favourite fun fold! I trimmed down a card base for my sides and bottom panels.
Centre-Step Card
Next, I created a fun barn door card. I trimmed the card base at 2 3/4” to create my door. Then I added a piece of Eyelet 3D Embossed Pretty Peacock that measured 2 3/4” x 4” on the inside in the opening. I created my focal point and adhered only the bottom half to the front of the card.
Barn Door Card
Then, I created an easy z-fold card. I made the front focal point the same as the instructions but used the oval on the inside to create a place to write a message. I also used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder behind the oval to add interest and fill in the space.
Z-Fold Card
The next card that I created was a book binding card with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder for the binding and White Baker’s Twine.
Book Binding Card
These final cards are regular card bases using the elements from the Kit with the addition of card stock and the Abundant Joy Add-on Dies.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing the first set of my Farmhouse Florals Alternative Cards using the Farmhouse Florals August 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! I made a total of 8 alternatives and thought to split them into 2 posts.
But, first, here are the three cards that the kit makes. The Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin brings a playful twist to classic blooms, featuring hand-painted flowers arranged in unexpected places. These versatile cards are perfect for thank-you notes or sending sweet messages any time of year. With whimsical designs full of rustic character, each card feels like a little surprise!

The Details of My Farmhouse Florals Alternative Cards – Set 1
My Centre-Step Card
For my first alternative card, I used my favourite fun fold and create a centre-step card! I thought this fold would be a fun way to use the handbag card base with the precut handbag that extended past the centre panel.
The only extra products that I added were the Lost Lagoon card base which was cut and scored according to the template below and the Calypso Coral “hello” using the Circle of Seasons Dies add-on. I die cut the hello three times and glued them together to give it dimension.
Centre-Step Card
For my card, I only used the front of the handbag card base. First, I cut off the bottom of the card base for the bottom panel. The bottom of the handbag from the card base will be seen, but once the precut handbag is added on top, it will be covered up.
Side View of Centre-Step Card
For the centre panel, I figured out where the centre of the card base was and made my measurements going from the inside out. This allowed the floral image to continue onto the side panels. To line up the flowers I had trim the sides down resulting them in being short So, I added a small square of the envelop at the bottom of my side panels to fill in the space.
The finishing touch was to pop-up the handbag, add the flowers and sentiment with twine just like it the original card.
Measurements:

11” x 4 ¼” cut/scored according to template below
Centre Panel:
2-1/8” x 4 ½”
2 Side Strips:

My Z-Fold Card
For my second alternative card, I decided to create a z-fold card using the printed part of the envelope for the inside panel. So, I scored the front of the Card Base from the Kit in half at 2-1/8” to create my fold. Then, I used the retired Subtles Embossing Folder to add some interest to the front of my card.
My Z-Fold Card
I loved the window precut piece! So, the only thing I added was a die cut Calypso Coral “Hello” with a stamped sentiment tucked in behind it.
Inside of Z-Fold Card
For the inside, I just trimmed off one of the envelope flaps. I found this added interest and colour to the inside of my card.
A bow made with the twine was all it needed for embellishments.

My Half-Front Card
For my next Farmhouse Florals Alternative Card using Farmhouse Foral August 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a half-front card.
This card was cased from Laura Seki with a few tweaks from me. Loved how easy it was to create this card! First, I used my retired Subtles Embossing fold on the front again. Then, I cut the front in half and adhered the right side down to the inside card base.
My Half-Front Card
For this card, the only extra product that I used was a piece of the printed envelop behind my sentiment.

My Hello Card
For my final Farmhouse Florals Alternative Card, I had the back of one of the card bases leftover. So, I decided to use it and added a Lost Lagoon card base with the last window pre-cut piece.
My Hello Card
The Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper goes perfectly with the colours. So, I added a piece with a Secret Sea mat to help ground my window. I did some stamping to add interest where the top edge of my DSP ended.
As you might have noticed, I love the Circle of Seasons Dies add-on and used the “Hello” again on this card. I die cut it three times and glued them together. It just adds interest without being over the top!
The finishing touch was the stamped sentiment and a bow from the twine.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Faux-Step Hello Card using elements from the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! I have included a downloadable Faux Centre-Step Template at the end of this post that has all the measurements on it.
The Details of My Faux-Step Hello Card
This card was for a swap and since I needed several cards, I had to use different pieces of DSP. Luckily, this paper pack had many beautiful pieces from which to choose. I was able to get two cards from each sheet of DSP.
Two Versions of Card
For my card, I thought a faux-step card would suit the frame from the Gallery Blooms Dies make a pretty focal point almost like a framed piece of art! To make the Basic Beige frame fit onto the easel, I had to trim a little off the top and bottom, but it was so small that it was hardly noticeable. A strip of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper with a Basic Beige mat helped to ground my focal point.
Side View of Card
Next, I used the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White piece that ran the length of the card behind the easel. Loved the subtleness of the design without taking away from the focal point! This was matted with Basic Beige card stock to match the frame.
Version 2 of Card
For the sentiment, I stamped it in Mossy Meadow on Basic White card stock and die cut it with the smallest banner from the Stylish Shaped Dies. Then, I tucked in the stamped Basic Beige floral cluster behind the sentiment.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added a scattering of Pressed Flower Motifs to the embossed inside layer and on the easel of my card.
Supplies:

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Hello Sweet Friend Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the Hello Little Friend Bundle. This Bundle includes 5 images:
Title 1: Hello Little Friend JPG format only
Titles 2, 3: Mushrooms JPG/PNG format
Titles 4, 5: Sentiment: Hello Sweet Friend PNG/JPG format
The Details of My Hello Sweet Friend Card
I love this sweet image by Conie Fong and had fun colouring it with my Copic markers. Then, I added Wink of Stella to the butterfly wings to make them shimmer.
Since the scene was so large, I decided to use it for most of my card front with only a few die cuts as accents. So, I had the Mini Fanciful Flourish overlapping my main focal point as if nature is cradling the scene. A vellum die cut butterfly was the other accent that I added to mirror the butterfly in the scene.
For my papers, I went with some DSP from my stash that had a mushroom theme. Perfect for my scene.
The finishing touch was to add some Red Rhinestones for sparkle.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my My Thankful Hydrangea Card using the Lovely Garden Suite Collection which includes the Thankful Garden Bundle, Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper, Starburst Sequins, and Fresh Freesia Faux Velvet Ribbon by Stampin’ Up! I made this pretty split panel card for a swap.
The Details of My My Thankful Hydrangea Card
The Thankful Garden Bundle comes with masks for the flowers, and I have been wanting to give them a try! So, I used my Blending Brushes and Blueberry Bushel Ink to brush ink onto the different masks of the petals. I used a light touch with the first mask and gradually added more ink and pressure as I went creating lots of dimension. I also, did this with Garden Green for the leaves.
Once I had my flower coloured, I made a couple of extras of the petals and die cut/fussy cut some out which I then added to the top of the flower with dimensionals. Where there was white showing on these extra die cut petals, I brushed ink to help blend them in.
Now, it was time to design my card. Since I decided on a split panel card, I used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder on the front 2 panels to give it interest without taking away from the flower. Next, I added my DSP strip to the inside of my card allowing it to peek out through the gap.
I used the second largest Nested Essentials Die and die cut the DSP for a backdrop to my flower. This also was my anchor between the two front panels. The flower on top also gave this panel extra stability.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it in white on a scrap of Blueberry Bushel and just trimmed it down with my paper snips to fit.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Starburst Sequins.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Corny Hello Card using the Poppin’ By Bundle which includes the Poppin’ By Stamp Set and Poppin’ By Dies by Stampin’ Up! I had so much fun making a card with this Bundle a while back, that I decided to make this second card. If you are interested in seeing my other card, I will post it at the end as well.
The Details of My Corny Hello Card
For my card, I thought that the Full of Life Designer Series Paper with its bright colour burst wheel would be perfect for my card! It would lead the eye to the popcorn that is popping out of the focal point. So fun! I added a Basic Black mat to my DSP to tie in the sentiment and help contain the explosion of colour. Lol! This DSP is listed in the Last Chance Products and it’s on sale! So, get it while you can!
Next, I decided to use a Granny Apple Green banner from the Birthday Celebration Dies to anchor my focal point. From this, I had my popcorn and stars from the Loose Shaker Elements bursting out!
After I die cut the popcorn, I used a Blending Brush to add ink to the edges to give them dimension. Then, I used my Wink of Stella Brush to splatter some Crushed Curry Ink on them as well. Love the shimmer it added!
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it in white on a scrap of Basic Black. The POP letters were die cut using the Alphabet à la Mode Dies in Crushed Curry and placed on my banner jumbled to look like it was being jostled by the popcorn.
As a finishing touch to my card, I added some Holographic Resin Dots.
Supplies:
Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Poppin’ By Bundle (165489), Birthday Celebration Dies (164598), Alphabet à la Mode Dies (160750)
Inks: VersaMark Ink (102283), Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pad (147087)

The Details of My Panda Lotus Card
For my card, I went looking to see what I had in my stash that would fit a lotus flower and low and behold, I found an old Paper Pumpkin Kit that I didn’t finish! Lol
But first, I coloured my image with my Copic markers and decided to add a bright lotus flower to make the image pop from the background.
Next, I heat embossed in white the sentiment and added a Bubble Bath mat to make it stand out.
The Kit came with some clear resin dots that I added to my lily pad and around my focal point.
The finishing touch was to add some Dragonfly Trinkets. Perfect for a lily pond!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Sending Hugs Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using Eucalyptus Tree Koala and Sentiment Bundle. Isn’t he just the cutest? This listing includes a total of 4 images:
Eucalyptus Tree Koala Right JPG format only
Eucalyptus Tree Koala Left JPG format only
Sending Hugs Sentiment JPG/PNG format
The Details of My Sending Hugs Card
First, I coloured this cutie with my Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella to the flower petals. I decided to use a W blend to give him a warm life-like colour.
Once that was done, I decided to create a faux-fun fold! Lol! I knew that I wanted to use my Palm Leaf Frame Die by Paper Rose, but my koala would have covered it almost completely. So, instead of centering him on the card, I turned the card and set him off to one side which meant he poked up above the card base. This placement gave my card a faux-step card look.
Next, I die cut the Tropical Escape DSP with the Palm Leaf Frame to add interest to it. Then, I layered a pink piece of DSP behind it to match the pink in the flowers. The pink flowers were cut from the DSP as well using the matching Tropical Dies.
The sentiment was die cut out with a stitched flag die and I layered a paper palm leaf and the pink flowers to match my DSP. To add interest to my palm leaf stem, I used a wooden skewer from my kitchen and wrapped it around to make it curl. Another palm leaf was tucked under my focal point.
The finishing touch was to add some rhinestones to the flower centres and card base for sparkle.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Kitty Birthday Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the cute Cat With Balloons. I coloured this image twice a while back and I finally made a card for him! Lol! I will post the other card that I made using this image at the end of this post.
The Details of My Kitty Birthday Card
For my card, I decided to use the Everyday Skies Designer Series Paper with the Everyday Arches Dies by Stampin’ Up! for my sky. But first I coloured this cutie with my Copic markers. I added Wink of Stella to the balloons to make them shimmer.
Next, I added dimension with layers of stitched clouds behind my arched focal point on the orange background piece. I even added more clouds on my focal point behind the Kittie.
The sentiment was die cut out with a stitched flag die to match the stitching on the arches.
The final touch was to add some Adhesive-Backed Birds to my scene and another one to the orange DSP.
Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Storybook Easter Card using the Storybook Friends Bundle which includes the Storybook Friends Stamp Set and the Storybook Friends Dies with Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up! I thought this DSP with its die-cut designs would make a fast and fun Easter card for my in-laws! In fact, my Mother-in-law loved Peter Rabbit. So, I knew she would get a kick out of my card!
The Details of My Storybook Easter Card
For my card, I thought a double z-fold card would create a perfect Easter scene. So, I used the soil-shaped die from the Storybook Garden Patch Dies to create the ground panel. I very carefully lined up the die three times to cut it along the top of the 11” x 1 ½” piece of Crumb Cake.
Top View of Double Z-Fold Card
Next, I embossed it with the retired Textured Embossing Folder to give the ground some interest and to cover up where the soil-shaped die left indents in the card stock. Once that was done, I brushed Crumb Cake Ink with my Blending Brush along the edges to make it look more like dirt. I popped up my ground piece with dimensionals on the front and on the last panel.
To make the carrots, I used the spade from the Storybook Garden Patch Dies and trimmed off the handle part. Then, I added the Old Olive die cut leaves. I love that the soil-shaped die has cuts in the ground that the carrots can be inserted to look like they are growing out of the ground!
Front of Card
For the front panel of the card, I used the Storybook Friends Dies to die cut a house from the DSP and frame it with the Wood Textured Specialty Paper. Since I wanted to add the pre-cut fence and ground infront of the house, I made sure that the house I picked was towards to top of the frame. I added some Lost Lagoon DSP that reminded me of wallpaper behind my frame.
Inside of Card
For my background scene on the other two panels, I made sure that I cut the DSP to create a continuous scene.
I love how easy it is to decorate my card with the die-cut designs! I added the momma bunny and child bunny to the front of the z-fold. Then, I added the mouse carrying water to the middle panel of the z-fold. And, finally, I added the squirrel with the rake to the third panel. I popped up the bunnies, but adherred the mouse and squirrel directly to the ground piece. When the card is closed, the carrots hide the mouse and squirrel from view. How cool is that!
Side View of Card
For the popped up sentiment, I used one of the stitched banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut my Lost Lagoon Easter Greetings. A die-cut butterfly was added for whimsy.
The finishing touch was to add three Antique Pearls with two on the front and one beside the sentiment.
I placed a Basic White piece on the back for the message.

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Just a Little Note Card using the Penciled Pear Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! Since masculine cards are so hard to make, I decided to create a masculine card with this stamp for a swap. In fact, I made 2 different cards with similar layouts.
My Two Variations
The Details of My Just a Little Note Card
For my card, I knew that I wanted to watercolour the pear with my Water Painters and ink that I squished onto my glass mat. Such a fun technique that allowed me to pick up as much ink as I needed!
Ink Pools
So, I heat embossed in black my stamped pear on watercolor paper. Tip: the heat embossing created a raised edge that kept the ink in the lines. Once that was done, I water coloured the pear in different colours since they can come in various shades of colours until they ripen. To add interest, I picked up the different inks on my brush and splattered it into onto the watercolor paper.
I matted the finished water coloured piece onto Old Olive and Basic White card stock to create my focal point.
Close Up of Focal Point
The sentiment was stamped in Black, die cut out and linen thread was added beneath it. The pears stamp was stamped multiple times in Crushed Curry onto Crush Curry card stock to add even more interest. This was matted with Basic White.
Next, I embossed the Early Espresso card stock with Timber 3D Embossing Folder to add to the masculine feel of my card.
The finishing touch was Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots in the opposite corner from my sentiment. Don’t you think these dots look like golf balls (hmmm ideas! lol!)? Very masculine!
