Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Hello Little One Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Conie Fong Art & Design using the sweet Goodnight Benji Bundle.
This Bundle includes 5 images:
Title 1: Goodnight Benji
Title 2: I Love You To The Moon And Back V1 Sentiment
Title 3: Love You To The Moon And Back V2 Sentiment
Title 4: Sweet Dreams Sentiment
Title 5: Hello Little One Sentiment
The Details of My Card
For my card, I decided to create a mini slimline card with this cutie on it. I love how Benji is just hanging out sleeping on his cloud! I coloured him with my Copic markers as a boy, but you can make a girl card or even gender neutral. It’s always good to have a stash of baby cards!
The Pebbles paper that I used had clouds and star constellations in very soft muted colours. Perfect for a baby card!
I decided to use the same scallop mini slimline die for all my pieces including the cloud paper and all 4 layers of clouds.
The stitched cloud dies created a wonderfully fluffy night sky. To frame Benji, I added clouds above and below him with the sentiment on the bottom cloud. Since it is a night sky, I added some star sprinkles around the sentiment.
To add sparkle to the moon and stars, I used Clear Wink of Stella on them.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my Game on Platform Card using the Game on Limited Edition Box by Kindred Stamps!
One of my brother’s recently had a birthday and he loved playing Super Mario Brothers when he was growing up. I also bought the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop-Up Dies and the Platform Pop-Up Add-On Dies recently. So, I thought a platform card using his favourite characters would be a fun card to send him!
The Details of My Card
I coloured several characters with my Copic markers in the bright primary colours from the game. Then, I assembled the platform dies and add-on dies to create my scene. The dies come with everything you need to create a scene. I used the grass and hill dies from the platform and added the sun and clouds dies from the Add-on. Once my platform was completed, I just had to add my characters.
The only embellishment I used was a “game on” puffy sticker on the front.
I love how the platform folds down for mailing and fits perfectly in a 5 ½” x 5 ½” envelope!

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing A Toast for Your Birthday! using the Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Past Kit. I had so much fun playing with this Paper Pumpkin Kit! I made some alternative cards (see at end of post for photos) when it was first released in January, but I had some leftover bits and decided to make a fun fold card. The only things I added was some card stock, adhesive and a toast sentiment! Everything else is from the kit.
This card is for a 12-year-old boy whose birthday is today! Every year I create an interactive card for him. Last year I created a card with the Give a Whirl Dies and in the past years, I created a Never-Ending Card, a Slider card, a wobble card and so on. He always says that I make the best cards EVER! Got to love that!
Details of My Pop & Twist Card
For my card, I decided to create a Pop & Twist card. I love how when you open the card, the images on the inside fold out and pop up!
The front of the card is one of the designs from the kit. I just cut it to fit a portrait card. I added a couple of stamped party hats from the stamp set that is included in the kit. A mat of Granny Apple Green was added behind the focal point.
The inside is where I got creative! There are four panels and I thought that incorporating each of the die cuts (eggs, cherries, banana, and toast) that came with the kit, would work well!
First Panel
For the first panel, I used an egg theme. I love the pun “have an egg-cellent day” and couldn’t resist using “egg-cited for you” too! Just too fun! I used one of the card bases that I cut down with a Granny Apple green mat to fit my panel.
Second Panel
The next panel had the theme of cherries. So, I used the inside of one of the envelopes for the background pattern. I thought the red dots went perfectly with those sweet cherries! This is one of the things I love about the kits! The envelopes are printed both on the outside and the inside. So, once you cut them open, you can reverse the coordinating patterns to suit your design.
Third Panel
For the third panel the theme was the banana. Again, I used the inside of an envelope for the background. The speech bubbles are so fun!
Fourth Panel
For the last panel, the theme was the toast. I didn’t have an appropriate sentiment. So, I printed one off on my computer to suit the birthday theme. I used the inside of an envelope once again for my background piece. Aren’t the glasses on the toast fun!
I added a scattering of the Enamel stickers that came with the kits on all the panels.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing My Magical Birthday Card as my Design Team Inspiration for Conie Fong Art & Design using theGnome With Balloon and Sentiment Bundle. He comes with 9 stamps including a choice of heart balloon or round balloon, with or without grass and 5 sentiments that consist of Hello Love, Love Is In The Air (2 different styles), Happy Valentine’s Day and Heart Full Of Love in JPG. You can also get him in PNG.
Details of My Card
This bundle is great for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and so much more, but I decided that I wanted to create a birthday card. So, I used the sentiment from Dandelion Wishes to create my birthday card.
Since this cutie is floating in the air, I thought I would create some clouds with a stencil, ink and dies. Perfect way to ground him from the very colorful Doodlebug paper! I thought it would be fun to have the sentiment on the cloud with the sun peeking above. I added Glossy Accents to the balloon to make it shine. A scattering of matching dots and rhinestones tie in the colour scheme.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I was honoured to have been asked to present this card and my colouring for it at the Rebels and Wizards Online Event for Paper Nest Dolls that was this past weekend. My Mandalorian Card is using Rebel Hero and the new release Rebel Baby by Paper Nest Dolls and the Magic Iris Dies by Lawn Fawn. I have included a PDF with step by step instructions on how to build the Magic Iris at the end of this post.
I just love Baby Yoda in the Mandalorian TV series. He is soooo cute! I even have a Baby Yoda stuffy that gets into all kinds of mischief. Lol! So, when I saw the new Rebel Baby digital stamp, I just had to make a card with him! My card was inspired by the last episode of season two where Luke comes to rescue Baby Yoda and his friends. I coloured Luke in dark clothes with a green light saver (or life saver as my Baby Yoda calls it! Lol!) as he appeared in this episode. The Rebel Baby is hidden behind the “door” and is revealed by the Magic Iris mechanism when the Jedi Hero opens it.
Don’t you just love the digital paper that I used with the Mandalorian helmets and the original Star Wars logo! They were perfect for my card and were free from HaleGrafix. I sponged some Black Soot to the edges of it to give my card a gritty feel. I couple of star embellishments was all this card needed to finish it off.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my Mythical Birthday Card using the Mythical Cthulu Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps! This card was delivered to a little boy whose birthday is today. He loves anything mythical and especially Cthulhu which is a fictional cosmic entity created by writer H. P. Lovecraft.
For my card, I decided that a slimline slider card would be so cool with Cthulhu rising from the watery depths of the ruined city of R’lyeh (some Cthulhu Mythos for you)! I always create interactive cards for the little boy’s and his brother’s birthdays and get the best reactions from them! His reaction to this card was “Laurie’s cards are always good, but this is the best card ever!”. This just made my day!
I only used four Copic markers to colour Cthulhu. To make the Scary Town Die fit my slimline shape, I cut it in two. I then added some stitched hills to create my multi-level town. Since this was supposed to be at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, I added some sand with Crumb Cake Card Stock and use the embossing folder to give it texture. What better place to stamp the sentiment that came with the stamp set: “Happy Birthday to Cthu!”.
I had debated about using my Distress Inks to create my water background, but I found this DSP that was perfect for my scene. It even had fish!
To make my slider mechanism work, I used a ton of dimensionals, especially the Foam Adhesive Strips by Stampin’ Up! I even created a video with the slider card in action.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my As You Wish Card using the Twoo Luv Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps! Princess Bride is one of my favourite movies ever! So, when I saw Kindred Stamps has this stamp set, I couldn’t resist buying it!
This is another super-fast card to make since the stamps colour up so quickly and the background paper is from the Enchanted Forest Paper Pack by Whimsy Stamps. I used my Copic markers to colour my characters to match the characters in the movie. I thought this slimline paper was perfect to represent the ‘Fire Swamp’ in the movie where Westley and Buttercup meet the R.O.U.S.’s (Rodents of Unusual Size)! The only other thing that needed to be added was the sentiment which I embossed in white on black cardstock. Easy-peasy!
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here to share my Witcher Birthday Card! Today is my big brother’s birthday and I know that The Witcher TV Series is right up his alley. So, I combined all 4 characters from the Monster Hunter Stamp Set by Kindred Stamps onto my mini slimline card.
I coloured the whole Monster gang with my Copic markers for a colouring challenge a while ago. I used the Bard for another card (I will link it at the end of the post). So, I had to recolour him. I love Kindred Stamps! They are such a fast colour!
For my card, I created a scene using only a few things. I love the Lavinia SceneScapes Paper! They have such amazing eerie scenes that can be used for square 6” x 6” card or cut down to fit my mini slimline card. I used the Stitched Hillside dies to create the ground. Finally, I used the Word Bubble dies to finish my scene.
I even decorated the inside of my card with a coin from the stamp set that I coloured with my Copic markers and a strip of the leftover paper. If you watched the Witcher, you know that he swears…a lot. So, I included a couple of more colourful sentiments inside my card that I knew my brother would recognize.
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with my Happy Birthday Card using the stamp called ‘Birthday Mouse’ Digital Stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. Everyone needs birthday card and this one is perfect for a little boy!
I decided to try my hand at making a Clean and Simple Card and let the image take centre stage for my card. I used my Copic markers to colour the stamp in oranges, blues, greens and yellows that I pulled from the Doodlebug Paper Pad. A great colour scheme for a little boy! I have been wanting to use the Stitched Whimsy Dies for a while and thought they would add a touch of whimsy to my card. The sentiment comes with the stamp, but I decided that I wanted to pop it up and added a bit of colour behind it with a piece of die cut paper from the paper pad. A scattering of sequins, Clear Wink of Stella on the star and dots and White Gelly Roll pen dots on the balloons finish my card off.

Hello Crafty Friends! Yesterday was a little boy’s birthday and a few weeks ago was a big boy’s birthday. The big boy collects comics especially Superman and the little boy sent me a card with a Superman stamp on the envelope. So, I pulled out my Save The Day Grab and Go Box by Stamp Anniething to make My Super Birthday Cards.
The Details of My Cards
I love that this Grab and Go Box has everything you need to make your card including paper, adhesive, card bases and more! I stamped my super heroes twice and used my Copic Markers to colour them. Then I die cut them out using the matching die included in the box.
My cards were quick ones to make since I mainly used the Save the Day paper sheets and the Comic Mat Die that come with the box. For one card, I pulled out the Background Scene Stencil and did some inking directly onto the white panel that was cut out from the Comic Mat Die. Next, I stamped the sentiment in black and just placed it back into the empty slot on the mat. The other panels were filled with different papers. I love the “Suddenly” just like in the old comics! I stamped the Whoosh!, coloured them with my Copic markers and then added Glossy Accents to make them pop. A few sequins add to the sparkle of the card.
For my other card, I decided to use the “POW” from the paper since the big birthday boy would get a kick out of it from the old TV shows that we use to watch.
One final piece was that I put my super heroes onto Action Wobbles. How fun is that! The recipient can have them wobble on the card! Check it out!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Rainy Friends Forever Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using the new digital stamp release Rainy Day Owen.
I coloured this cutie and his little friend with my Copic markers. Since he is Rainy Day Owen, I decided to create a rainy scene with my cloud dies and DSP, but with a rainbow peeking through the clouds. I love the sentiment, but it was too long for my card front. So, I did a few snips here and there to pull it apart and added a mat to make them pop from the background. A few more raindrops with my Clear Epoxy Shapes were added. A finishing touch was Glossy Accents on the puddle and raindrops to make them look wet.

Today is I am sharing my Soar Confidently Birthday Card that I made for my father-in-law’s birthday that was yesterday using the Soar Confidently Stamp Set. My father-in-law loves planes, and I knew that a card with the plane from this set would be perfect for him! I just happened to decide to use all the images, as well as the plane.
The Details of My Card
Since the images look vintage, I decided to create an old world feel to my card. So, once I stamped my images on Very Vanilla card stock, I used my Blender Pen to “colour” the stamped images in certain areas where the line art was the strongest. I then fussy cut the stamped images out with my Paper Snips. To give my card more of a vintage feel I sponged ink along the edges. I usually don’t mix Very Vanilla and Basic White but thought the vintage look I was going for allowed it to work.
I decided to use the World of Good Designer Series Paper since it is perfect for a masculine card! Specifically, the one with the compasses on the Misty Moonlight background which reminded me of a blue sky. This paper is retiring and is currently on sale!
For my card, I wanted all the different flying machines to be in the air. So, I need some clouds which is where the Mountain Air Bundle came into effect. I stamped them in Misty Moonlight, but stamped off twice before stamping them on the Basic White card stock to give them a soft fluffy look.
I stamped the sentiment in a Stitched Rectangle, add a couple of banners with one in copper foil to match the copper stars from the Star Designer Elements.

It was so much fun colouring these sweet angels in bright Spring-like colours! Can you see I’m longing for Spring! Lol! I used glossy accents on all the gold bits and Clear Wink of Stella on their wings since angel wings should sparkle! For my clouds, I alternated white and blue measuring each layer so that they all stack on each other with lots of dimensionals. Since I decided to create a night sky behind them, I added a glimmery moon and a scattering of stars throughout my scene.

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here sharing my Level Up Birthday Card for the Design Team of Paper Nest Dolls usingBuild Your Own Nest (Gamers). It comes with 3 digital images including a gamer boy, a gamer girl and a game console/games.
This set of digital stamps is perfect to create your own “room” using the Build Your Own Nest (Family Room). For my card, I decided that I wanted to highlight these cute gamers and their game box and games. So, I created a slim line card just for them.
I coloured them with my Copic markers in bright primary colours to match the paper that I picked. The Saved the Day paper has comic book noises like splat, boom, bam, etc. which I thought was perfect noises for video games, especially if they are playing super heroes! The game controller dies from My Favorite Things definitely had to be added to my card. I added glossy accents to the buttons on my controller to give them dimension. I had such a hard time choosing the sentiment for my card but decided on Level Up (Happy Birthday). Such a great sentiment for my card!

It’s Laurie here with my Hugs for Mr. Snowman Card for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios using her ‘Snowman Hug’ Christmas Digital Stamp. Isn’t this just the sweetest image with the little one giving Mr. Snowman a big hug!
I pulled out the Winter Fun paper a while back and had it sitting on my table in anticipation of this card. I love the soft blues and browns of it and coloured with my Copic markers the stamp to match. Once the image was coloured, I used my new Stampin’ Up! Blending Brush to give the sky a pretty blue to make the snowman pop from the background. Of course, you have to have snowflake dies cuts when a snowman is involved! I thought the Tan/ White Twine and the snowflake charm were perfect accents to my card! I added some sparkle with the Clear Gelly Roll Pen on the snowsuit’s snowflakes and a scattering of rhinestones.
