My Sweet Birthday Card

My Sweet Birthday Card
My Sweet Birthday Card

Today is I am sharing My Sweet Birthday Card that I made for a swap using the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and the Sale-a-Bration Berry Bliss Bundle. There is only a few more day left of the Jan-Feb 2021 Sale-a-Bration and you can get the Berry Bliss Bundle for free with a qualifying $120 order.

I love how these two bundles coordinate with their berry sweet theme! The Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper is so pretty with its fresh and juicy paper designs. Both stamp sets are Distinktive and consist of two-step stamping to give you texture and dimension to your images.

Who doesn’t love a coordinating punch and what is better than the Strawberry Builder Punch! I even punched out a coordinating Granny Apple Green stem to top my strawberry.

I wanted to create a country theme by using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and the Denim Ribbon. The Stitched Oval also adds to my theme. The plaid DSP reminded me of a table cloth that has been laid on the ground to enjoy your picnic of berries. A couple of Red Rhinestones are the finishing touch and add a bit of sparkle to the card.

I had so much fun with my card that I ended up making 3 versions all with different sentiments.

Dance for Joy Card

My Dance for Joy Card
Dance for Joy Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with my Dance for Joy Card using the digital PNG stamp called ‘Ballerina Princess’ Digital Stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios as my Design Team Inspiration. Don’t you love this sweet little girl who just loves to dance!

For my card, I knew that I wanted to create a really girly card with soft pinks, blues and yellows. So, the 5thAvenue Paper was perfect for my card! Once I coloured her with my Copic markers, I added glitter to her top, flowers in her hair and the star on her wand with a Clear Gelly Roll Pen.

I created a frame for my little Ballerina like she was hung on a wall in a place of honour. I used the Hydrangea Punch to build my flowers to match my colours and added a pearl in the centre since pearls are very girly! The flag banner was die cut from the 5th Avenue Paper Pad and flanked by my flowers. Of course you have to have pink ballerina shoes for a ballerina! The sentiment sums up my card perfectly!

Peony Thank You Card

My Peony Thank You Card

Today is I am sharing my Peony Thank You Card that I made for a swap using the beautiful Peony Garden Suite Collection. I love peonies and when I saw this collection, I knew that I had to buy it! It is getting lots of love! So far, I have made 4 cards with it! I am sharing two of those cards here.

For my card, I pulled out my Stampin’ Up! Blends in Petal Pink and Old Olive to colour this gorgeous flower. I love how you can use the matching dies to cut out the blooms, but there are also dies that build a 3D peony bloom as well! I made the card below for my Mom’s 75th birthday using the 3D bloom and it was gorgeous!

Birthday Card with the 3D Peony Bloom
My Mom’s Birthday Card with the 3D Peony Bloom

I love the softness of the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper and that was from where I pulled my colour scheme of Petal Pink and Gray Granite with a touch of Old Olive.

I used the pretty Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder on the Petal Pink card stock. For embellishments, I used the Gray Granite Ribbon, a Square Vellum Doily and a scattering of Elegant Faceted Gems.

My True Love Card

My True Love Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with My True Love Card for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios using the sweet ‘Flowers for You’ Digital Stamp. This stamp is perfect for that special someone on Valentine’s Day!

I love it when I receive flowers from my Hubby and this stamp reminds me of those wonderful moments! So, I coloured with my Copic Markers the couple to look like us. I created a bouquet that mimics the bouquet that the boy is giving the girl, but I added some ribbon, linen thread and a heart trinket all mounted on a filigree die cut heart. For the Detailed Hearts Die cut, I cut it in half and then offset it in opposite corners. A heart paper clip and red rhinestones along with Clear Gelly Roll Pen on the hearts and Clear Wink of Stella on the large heart add a bit of sparkle and whimsy. I angled my coloured focal point so that you could see the paper beneath that says My True Love. That is what my card is all about.

My Blowing Wishes Your Way Card for Conie Fong Art & Design

Happy New Year’s Eve! Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! For my last card of 2020, I am sharing my Guest Design Team Inspiration for Conie Fong Art & Design using Dandelion Wishes. This sweet fairy is “blowing wishes your way” for a wonderful 2021!

I had so much fun colouring her with my Copics markers in bright and bonny colours for a change from the Christmas colours that I have been using lately! This digital stamp can be used for so many different occasions, but I decided that I wanted to create a New Year’s Eve card. I knew that I wanted to use some new Stampin’ Up! products that I received that tied in the dandelion theme nicely like the Designer Series Paper and the Dies!

Our Friendship is Tweet

Our Friendship is Tweet Card
Our Friendship is Tweet Card

It’s Laurie here with Our Friendship is Tweet Card for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios using her cute ‘Tweet Friendship’ Christmas Digital Stamp. I have been a big fan of Rachelle Anne Miller’s for a long time. In fact, I used my rubber stamp that was in my stash to create my card, but you can get the digital version in her store.

I love this sweet little girl with her tweet friends! I though she made a perfect card for a winter birthday and I have a lot of them coming up in January and February. So I have plans for her!

For my card, I coloured her with my favourite BG and YG colour combinations of Copic markers. I then created a frame by laying down the die that I used to cut her out and sponged Pool Party Ink with my new Blending Brush from Stampin’ Up! When I lifted the die up, I was left with a white frame to set off my image. I love the Frostyville Wreath in the Sparkle Glimmer Paper, but it was too small for my image. So, I cut it apart and draped it along the frame. To balance the “wreath” of snowflakes, I placed another larger snowflake opposite them. I thought that the Metallic Mesh Ribbon looked like cracked ice creating a subtle texture to the card. A scattering of Adhesive-backed Snowflakes added to the Winter Wonderland theme of my card.

Life Is A Beautiful Journey

A Beautiful Journey Card using the World of Good Suite
Life is A Beautiful Journey Card using the World of Good Suite

Today I am sharing My Life Is A Beautiful Journey Card that I created for a swap that uses products from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and the World of Good Suite. This card is a perfect masculine card especially for a retirement or a graduation!

I love how the pops of Misty Moonlight ink and the World of Good Designer Series Paper add a nice touch of colour to this very neutral card. I used Gold Foil Sheets instead of the Brass Foil Sheets only because they were on backorder at the time. The Brass ones would look just as nice! I wanted to add a bit of an old paper look by sponging Crumb Cake around the sentiment’s edges and on the DSP after it was embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I was so happy to find out that the Metallic Pearls had carried over and I used them as the perfect accent to finish the card.

A Beautiful Journey Alternative Card using the World of Good Suite

Amazing how beautiful and packed full of coordinating products the WORLD OF GOOD SUITE in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is. The Beautiful World cling stamp set has globe imagery and sentiments that have to do with adventure. The sentiments are designed to work on the outside and the inside of your card project. The World Map dies cut out the imagery from the stamp set. The World of Good Specialty DSP has a 16th Century map style feel with gold foiling. Storytime Design Team Card

My Storytime! Card using Storytime by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studio
My Storytime Design Team Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here with my Storytime Design Team Card for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios using their Storytime Digital Stamp. This is my first card as a new Design Team Member for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios! I’m so excited to join such a talented team!

I love this sweet image with all the cute forest friends gathered around to listen to a story! The panels to the left are all the wonderful stories they are reading. Once Upon a Time…there was a ranger who confronted a dragon guarding his hoard. Once Upon a Time…there was a knight on a chivalrous quest. Or, maybe they are reading Jack and the Beanstalk as the vine travels to the clouds! This image just sparks my imagination! The sentiment is from a Kraftin Kimmie Stamp that I thought was perfect for these little forest friends! “We’ll be friends forever…the end!”

Grace’s Garden Gate Card

Grace’s Garden Gate Card
My Grace’s Garden Gate Card

Today I am sharing this pretty Grace’s Garden Gate Card. For this card, I combined the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set and the Grace’s Garden Bundle. I thought these two sets went perfectly together! The Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper is perfect for the gate. I used my Paper Snips to cut the gate doors so that it can open to reveal the beautiful scene beyond. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to walk through a lavender field! There is a Sneak Peek of one of the new Greenery Embossing Folders that frames the scene. Let’s get started.
