My Wintery Christmas Barn

Christmas Card with a Horse Sled infant of a Barn
My Wintery Christmas Barn

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Wintery Christmas Barn using the Christmas Barn Bundle by Stampin’ Up! which includes the Christmas Barn Stamp Set and the Barn Dies.

The Details of My Card

For my card, I decided to make a faux centre-step card to allow enough room for the barn to fit on the centre panel. I created my faux centre-step card using my template with all my measurements that I have included at the end of this post. Some die cut snowflake were added at the top of the centre panel to create some interest before adhering it to the card base. You could add DSP as another option.

My Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the elements to create my winter wonderland scene. I have included some links to past colouring tutorials using Stampin’ Blends at the end of this post.

Once I die cut them out, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on the Basic White strip on the right side to allow room for the sled. I popped this piece up so that I could tuck in the barn and trees behind it. Before adding the sled, I trimmed the fence to fit and glued it in place.

I thought the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper was perfect with its large snowflakes to add to my winter wonderland theme and you can see it through the die cut snowflakes on the centre panel! All the embellishments needed was to add the Sparkle & Shine Sequins to create a flurry of more snowflakes!

Trick or Treat Halloween Card

Slimline Halloween Card with Trick-or-Treaters on it
Trick or Treat Halloween Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Trick or Treat Halloween Card using the Scary Cute Bundle which includes the Scary Cute Stamp Set and the Scary Silhouettes Dies. I love making Halloween cards and had a lot of fun with this bundle! This is card number two that I made with this bundle. I have included a link to the other one as the bottom of this post.

The Details of My Card

For my card, I thought a slimline card would be fun allowing me to use all the scene creator dies from the bundle!

I used the same method as the other card where I blended the eerie sky using my Blending Brushes and Masking Paper. For the centre panel, I used the 1 3/8” inch circle die (second smallest) from the Layering Circles Dies to create my moon. Once that was in place, I blended Tuxedo Black on the edges of the Basic White piece, followed by Night of Navy and then Crushed Curry around the moon. When I removed the mask, I lightly brushed Crush Curry over the moon to give it a yellow glow. For the other two panels, I only used Tuxedo Black and Night of Navy, but I made the edges farthest from the moon darker to continue the eerie glow of the moon into the other panels.

My trick-or-treaters were stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed in black. I wanted to get a good solid image and thought this would work better than just stamping.

The Black & White Designs DSP was the perfect backdrop for my card giving it interest, but not enough to distract from the panels. The Mesh Ribbon add some sparkle behind the panels.

You might be asking me where is the Glitter Washi Tape? I used it for the die cut bats! If you line them up on the tape carefully, the just fit!  The sentiment is heat embossed in black. A scattering of sequins was added to add more interest.

Boo and Scary On Halloween Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Boo and Scary On Halloween Card using the Scary Cute Bundle which includes the Scary Cute Stamp Set and the Scary Silhouettes Dies. I love making Halloween cards and had a lot of fun with this bundle! In fact, I made 2 cards using it with slight variations. I will share the other one next week as we lead up to Halloween!

The Details of My Card

For my card, I thought the Grove Dies die cut in Basic Black would create a perfect spooky scene for my little tricker-or-treaters! So, I pulled out my Blending Brushes and Masking Paper to create the eerie night sky. I used the 1 3/8” inch circle die (second smallest) from the Layering Circles Dies to create my moon. Once that was in place, I blended Tuxedo Black on the edges of the Basic White piece, followed by Night of Navy and then Crushed Curry around the moon. When I removed the mask, I lightly brushed Crush Curry over the moon to give it a yellow glow.

My trick-or-treaters were stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed in black. I wanted to get a good solid image and thought this would work better than just stamping. Tip: use the die cut grove to help position where you would like you stamp to go.

Since the die cut grove took up most of the front, I made the Gingham Cottage DSP 1/8” larger all around to allow it to be seen and gave the card some colour.

There was room at the bottom to place the Pumpkin Pie Glitter Washi Tape. It ties in the DSP and the sentiment which was embossed in black as well. A few sequins were added to add some interest.

Supplies for My Boo and Scary On Halloween Card:

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Scary Cute Bundle (159852), Grove Dies (157844), Layering Circles Dies (151770)

Mini Slimline Rose Card

A birthday card with a rose on it
Mini Slimline Rose Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I was honoured to be asked to present my colouring with Stampin’ Blends at a Playdate during World Card Making Day for fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. I am sharing my Mini Slimline Rose Card from the WCMD using products from the Abigail Rose Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!

The Details of My Card

For my card, I decided to use the Cottage Rose Stamp Set since the artist has indicated where the shadows are with their line art. I thought it would be a good image for beginners. It also has two different areas that I could demonstrate the techniques of light-to-dark on the petals and dark-to-light on the leaves. I have included links to some videos at the end of this post that cover these techniques and more.

The Split Card Textures Dies were top of my list to buy when I saw them in the catty. I have seen a lot of cards made with them using the regular A2 (4 ¼” x 5 ½”) card base, but I thought a mini slimline card would be a fun alternative!

Mini slimline cards can come is different sizes to match your design/products. For instance, a 3” x 6” mini slimline is perfect for 6” x 6” paper packs. They also come in 3 ½” x 6” or 3 ½” x 6 ½”. They fit in No. 8 envelope (3-5/8” x 6 ½”) which you can pick up at any dollar store. For my card I choose 3 ½” x 6” since this size fitted the Split Card Textures Die well.

I love how the Split Card Textures Die allows the beautiful Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper to show through on one half of the card while allowing the rose to fit perfectly in the other corner! Some Petal Pink die cut flowers extend the focal point into the card. The Natural Finish Ribbon adds a nice backdrop for the sentiment. And a scattering of gems, one on the flower and two in the top right corner, tie in the colour scheme.

My Gnomeo Centre-Step Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Gnomeo Centre-Step Card using the Kindest Gnomes Bundle and the matching Storybook Gnomes 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up! The Kindest Gnomes Bundle includes the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set and the Gnomes Dies.

The Details of My Card

For my card, I decided to make a centre-step card to allow me to create a scene with the DSP. Almost everything was using the DSP. I love how the Gnomes Dies cut out some of the characters and the mushroom house on the DSP! I also love how multicultural the gnomes are with different skin tones.

Tip: Don’t throw away any leftover sheets of the Wonderful Snowflakes once you have used all the snowflakes. I used a small die to cut the snowflakes that I used on my card. This gives the snowflakes an iridescent look.

For the snowbank, I used the rounded die from the Basic Borders Dies. The only stamping was the sentiment in Real Red on the snowbank making this a fun and easy card!

For embellishments, I used a scattering of Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems on the snowbank around the characters.

Furry & Bright Christmas Card

Christmas card with a dog on it
Furry & Bright Christmas Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Furry & Bright Christmas Card using the Christmas Scottie Bundle which includes the Christmas Scottie Stamp Set and the Scottie Dog Punch by Stampin’ Up! Since today is National Dog Day, I thought it would be fun to post this cute card!

The Details of My Card

For my card, I pulled my colour scheme from the Sweetest Christmas DSP in Real Red, Garden Green and Pool Party.

I knew I wanted my tartan Scottie in red. So, I stamped the tartan in Real Red and punched him and the bow out. Punches make it so easy!

I love the iridescent foil of the Wonderful Snowflakes! I’m so glad that they carried over from last year! Tip: Don’t throw away any leftover sheets once you have used all the snowflakes. I used a small die to cut the snowflakes that I used on my card. This way they match the larger Wonderful Snowflake behind the dog.

Die Cut Snowflakes

For the Pool Party Stitched Rectangle, I stamped the snowflakes that come in the stamp set in Pool Party for a tone-on-tone look. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green on a Basic White Stitched rectangle leaving enough room for the punched bow.

For embellishments, I used a bow of Garden Green on the Scottie dog, Red Rhinestones on the snowflakes and a scattering of sequins.

Supplies:

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Christmas Scottie Bundle (159744), Stitched Rectangles Dies (151820), Frosted Flurry Dies (159811)

Inks: Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad (147089), Real Red Classic Stampin’ Pad (147084), Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad (147107)

Hues of Happiness Birthday Card

Two cards with flowers on them.
Hues of Happiness Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Hues of Happiness Birthday Card using the Hues of Happiness Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!

The Details of My Card

This card was for a swap using products from the new Annual Catty. I love the bright and happy colours of the Hues of Happiness DSP! I also love that the dies die cut the flowers from the DSP!

Video of Die Cutting Flowers from the DSP

For my card, I thought a fun split panel card would work with the spiral notebook die as the panel joining the other 2 panels. I can see this spiral die working for so many cards, especially school cards! The two flowers and leaves were die cut from the DSP and matched the DSP colours on the panels.

One of the cards with pink and purple flowers on it
Version One of the Card

Since there are so many flowers that I could die cut, I decided to create different colour cards in the same layout. These two cards are only some of the colour combinations that I used.

A card with Blue and yellow flowers on it.
Second Version of the Card

Tip: to adhere the two card panels, I lined up the bottom panel with the bottom of the card base. Then, I added glue only to the top and bottom of the Basic White piece, careful not to add it too close to the centre. I made sure to leave enough room on the bottom panel to add my ribbon.

The sentiment was stamped onto ½” scrap and then snipped the edges on the angle. The Fresh Freesia was a 5/8” scrap and trimmed to match the Basic White piece.

The ribbon was wrapped around the bottom panel and tied in a bow. A scattering of matching Glossy Dots that come in the Suite added some shimmer.

Hello Ladybug Card

Card with a ladybug and daisies on it.
Hello Ladybug Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Hello Ladybug Card using the Hello Ladybug Stamp Set and matching Ladybug Builder Punch.

The Details of My Card

This card was for a swap, but the Annual Catty was retiring. We couldn’t use any retiring product on the card. So, my solution was lots of punches and embellishments that I knew would carry over!

For my card, I decided to use the Picture This Dies again since it reminded me of the dots on the ladybug’s wings. These dies are so versatile, and I have used them for several cards! I used the circles die for this card and thought it would be neat having the daisies popping out of the holes!

Before adhering with dimensionals the die cut Real Red piece to the Basic Black mat, I wrapped white Baker’s twine around one of the holes and tied it in a bow.

After lots of punching and layering 2 sets of petals on top of each other followed by the flower centre from the Poppy Moments Dies, I had 3 sets of flowers for the holes.

Next came the ladybug. But first, I heat embossed in black the spots before I punch the wings out of Real Red cardstock. Then I punched out the body in Basic Black and assembled the ladybug.

Since the stamp set is photopolymer and I could line up my stamp easily, I die cut the smallest circle out of the Circles Die and then stamped the hello in black. Tip: only use the part of the die you want, not the whole thing to save paper. Another tip is use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to allow you time to slide the sentiment piece in place.

A scattering of black Classic Dots and Red Rhinestones tied in my ladybug theme.

You’re Flippin’ Awesome Card

Card with BBQ Tools on it
You’re Flippin’ Awesome Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! Father’s Day is just a few weeks away and I thought I would share with you my You’re Flippin’ Awesome Card using the new He’s The Man Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! This suite is perfect for car lovers, grilling enthusiasts, camping buffs, and more! My Father-in-law loves to BBQ and I though this suite would make a perfect Father’s Day card for him!

The Details of My Card

This card is a fast and easy card to make! No stamping involved on the front, but I did stamp the inside with “Wishing You a Happy Father’s Day” using the He’s All That Stamp Set that comes in the Collection.

The He’s The Man Designer Series Paper comes with 2 die cut sheets and I used one of the die cuts for my sentiment. Easy-peasy! To give it more of a focal point, I added a piece of DSP and die cut it out using the He’s All That Dies. I turned it so that it flanks the sentiment on either side. I love the “framed” look that the die gives the die cut piece. Gave it that little extra detail!

The Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were a perfect accompaniment to my manly card! I placed one on either side of the sentiment and one above it to the left. Tip: you always want odd numbers since they are pleasing to the eye.

The final thing I added to my focal point was some looped Linen Thread behind everything. How manly is that thread!

For the DSP, I made it smaller than usual since I wanted the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder to show up more. I went with a Cajun Craze bricked piece since it matched my DSP and what is more appropriate than orange bricks!

All this was place on a Sahara Sand card base.

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: He’s The Man Suite Collection (159083)

A Cup of Thanks Card

A Card with Tea Cups on it
A Cup of Thanks Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing A Cup of Thanks Card using the Cup of Tea Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I loved the idea of stacking the teacups in different colours!

Details of My Card

For my card, I wanted to highlight the new 2022-24 In Colors and what better way than with the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper that incorporates all the new colors in its pretty designs! I also used the In Color 2022–2024 Designer Series Paper for two of my teacups. Tip: Since the DSP is double-sided, I turned the middle teacup to face the opposite way. For the bottom teacup, I love the combination of Parakeet Party and Starry Sky together. So, I used the stackable die cuts to create my teacup. To highlight my teacups, I used a stitched scallop rectangle in Basic White.

I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! has released new stitched circle/square dies and I couldn’t rest using one of the circles for my Starry Sky sentiment! Don’t you just love the Fun Flowers Resin Shapes and they come in Parakeet Party as one of the colours!

I thought placing the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on an angle behind the focal point was a fun idea. The Stitched Greenery Die with its tone-on-tone created a subtle background that doesn’t distract from the focal point, but still adds interest.

I added a stamped die cut lemon wedge and a Sweet Sorbet Glimmer heart to continue my caring thank you theme.

My Happy Mother’s Day Card

A Mother's Day Card with tulips in rain boots
My Happy Mother’s Day Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Happy Mother’s Day Card using the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

The Details of My Card

For my card, I thought the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle would be a perfect match! And I couldn’t resist using the tulip border die that comes in the Flowering Tulips Bundle!

I pulled my colour scheme of Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Evening Evergreen from the DSP. I love that the coordinating dies cut out the stamped pieces! By adding a piece of vellum under the boots, a focal point was created, but still allowed the die cut tulip border to show through. The sentiment was heat embossed with white on Highland Heather and then die cut with one of the All Dressed Up Dies. A scattering of the sweet Brass Butterflies finished the card off nicely.

Supplies:

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Flowering Rain Boots Bundle (157691), Flowering Tulips Bundle (157678), All Dressed Up Dies (151665), Stitched Rectangles Dies (151820)

A Toast for Your Birthday!

A card with a banana in glasses saying Celebrate! Go Bananas!
A Toast for Your Birthday!

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing A Toast for Your Birthday! using the Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Past Kit. I had so much fun playing with this Paper Pumpkin Kit! I made some alternative cards (see at end of post for photos) when it was first released in January, but I had some leftover bits and decided to make a fun fold card. The only things I added was some card stock, adhesive and a toast sentiment! Everything else is from the kit.

Video of Pop & Twist Card in Action

This card is for a 12-year-old boy whose birthday is today! Every year I create an interactive card for him. Last year I created a card with the Give a Whirl Dies and in the past years, I created a Never-Ending Card, a Slider card, a wobble card and so on. He always says that I make the best cards EVER! Got to love that!

Details of My Pop & Twist Card

For my card, I decided to create a Pop & Twist card. I love how when you open the card, the images on the inside fold out and pop up!

The front of the card is one of the designs from the kit. I just cut it to fit a portrait card. I added a couple of stamped party hats from the stamp set that is included in the kit. A mat of Granny Apple Green was added behind the focal point.

Close Up of Banana on card
Close Up of Card Front

The inside is where I got creative! There are four panels and I thought that incorporating each of the die cuts (eggs, cherries, banana, and toast) that came with the kit, would work well!

Pop-Up Inside Card
Pop-Up Inside Card

First Panel

For the first panel, I used an egg theme. I love the pun “have an egg-cellent day” and couldn’t resist using “egg-cited for you” too! Just too fun! I used one of the card bases that I cut down with a Granny Apple green mat to fit my panel.

First Panel with Eggs on it
First Panel of Pop-Up Inside of Card

Second Panel

The next panel had the theme of cherries. So, I used the inside of one of the envelopes for the background pattern. I thought the red dots went perfectly with those sweet cherries! This is one of the things I love about the kits! The envelopes are printed both on the outside and the inside. So, once you cut them open, you can reverse the coordinating patterns to suit your design.

Second Panel on Pop Out Inside Card

Third Panel

For the third panel the theme was the banana. Again, I used the inside of an envelope for the background. The speech bubbles are so fun!

Third Panel on Pop-Up Inside Card

Fourth Panel

For the last panel, the theme was the toast. I didn’t have an appropriate sentiment. So, I printed one off on my computer to suit the birthday theme. I used the inside of an envelope once again for my background piece. Aren’t the glasses on the toast fun!

Fourth Panel on Pop-Up Inside Card

I added a scattering of the Enamel stickers that came with the kits on all the panels.

Inks and Cardstock Bookmark

For this bookmark, I kept it simple with just ink and cardstock. First, I stamped one of the leaves from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and then I used a die cut flower from the Penned Flower Dies.

My Easter Blessings Card

Easter Card with Daffodils
My Easter Blessings Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing My Easter Blessings Card using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle by Stampin’ Up! This bundle is perfect for those last-minute Easter cards that you need to make!

Details of My Card

I love our yellow and white daffodils that sprout up each year in our garden! So, I decided to go with this colour scheme for my card!

Photo of daffodils
Daffodils in Our Garden

For my card, I wanted to create a soft look by using Soft Suede Ink to stamp my flowers. To go with this soft look, I used my Blender pens to pick up Old Olive and Bumblebee inks to colour my flowers. Guess what I used for my white petals? I used the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker! Perfect way to add that white!

Daffodil stamp being coloured
Colouring of Daffodils with Blender Pen

I stamped the dots in Crumb Cake around my flowers and added the border stamp in Old Olive ink at the base of my card. I carefully positioned the leaves from the Greenery Embossing Folder so that you could see the embossed leaves on either side of the centre piece. The Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper was the perfect accompaniment to my colouring as well as the gingham ribbon bringing out the Bumblebee colour. The sentiment used the Tailor Made Tags Dies. All this card needed was a Bumblebee Trinket flitting around the flowers!

Supplies:

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: Daffodil Daydream Bundle (157795), Stitched Rectangles Dies (151820), Scalloped Contours Dies (155560), Tailor Made Tags Dies (155563)

Beyond the Horizon Alternative Cards

Alternative Cards using the March 2022 Paper Pumpkin
Beyond the Horizon Alternative Cards

Hello Crafty Friends! Laurie here again! I am sharing my Beyond the Horizon Alternative Cards using the March 2022 Beyond the Horizon Paper Pumpkin. I loved this kit! It was perfect for all those masculine cards that you need to make. And I loved that it coordinated with the New Horizons Suite Collection!

I loved this Kit so much, that I created several alternative cards! I have gone into detail for my Mini Slimline Tri-Fold Window. At the end of this post, I have photos of all the other alternative cards with brief descriptions.

Details of My Mini Slimline Tri-Fold Window Card

For my first card, I decided to create a mini slimline Tri-Fold Window Card by combining the Paper Pumpkin Kit and the New Horizons Suite Collection. I thought it would be neat to see the beautiful water coloured scene peeking out of the windows between the mountain die cuts that came with the kit!

How to Cut the Card Base

The Misty Moonlight card base is 6” x 10.5” and scored at 3.5” and 7” along the long side to create 3 panels. I used the 2 largest retired Stitched Squares to create my windows for the scene. The largest Square on the outside panel and the next size down on the inside panel.

The Front Panel

Front of Tri-Fold Card

I cut apart 2 envelopes to use for my background pieces in Old Olive and Bumblebee. The Old Olive piece was on the front panel and the Bumblebee was on the right inside panel.

Tip: since the envelopes are thinner than card stock, you can glue them down and cut both the panel and the envelope at the same time.

The envelopes are printed on both sides. So, I was able to flip over leftover pieces where I needed another design such as the cross hatching on the front panel and the Misty Moonlight dotted piece.

I used a small piece of the In Good Taste DSP for my fence to give it a wooden look. Don’t you just love the Pebbles Enamel Shapes! I couldn’t resist using them on three of my panels!

Close Up of Scene Through The Windows

The Right Inside Panel

I thought that the mountain dies that came in the Kit would be perfect to layer on the bottom of the Bumblebee window. Almost like you are looking through mountains at the scene.

Right Inside Panel

For this panel, I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight onto a die cut Crumb Cake wood piece. Then I and layered it in front of a scrap of the dotted Misty Moonlight envelope.

Mountain Die Cuts with Scene

The Inside Panels

For the inside panels, I used leftover pieces of the envelopes under the windows and layered the leftover stitched squares on top.

For the left panel, I created a scene using the die cut trees from the Collection and the circle from the kit. Don’t you think the circle looks like a sun! I even used the trimmed top of the water-coloured piece for my sky behind the stitched square. I don’t throw anything out just in case I can use it.

Inside With All Panels Open

For the inside panel on the right, I used the sentiment from the floral stamp set that was the gift in the kit. I added some grasses and those pebbles again.

For the center piece, I added a Basic White mat to frame the water-coloured piece allowing an area to write.

Supplies:

Stamps/Bundles/Dies: New Horizons Suite Collection (157782)

Inks: Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad (147116), Misty Moonlight Spot (From Kit)

Paper: Misty Moonlight (153081), Basic White (159276), Old Olive (100702), In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494), New Horizons 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (157768)

Accessories: 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack Paper (158140), Pebbles Enamel Shapes (158141), Retired Stitched Rectangles, Bone Folder (102300), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

My Other Alternative Cards

Second Alternative Card

Second Alternative Card

This one of my alternative cards using the March Paper Pumpkin that I made for my Father-in-law’s birthday! It is based on the mini slimline design that they show on the back of the instruction sheet, but, of course, with a few tweaks from me.

I decided to use In Good Taste DSP for my fence to give it a wood texture. Since the card was for my FIL, I decided to use Old Olive card stock for the Time to Celebrate sentiment with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. A simple knot suited my FIL’s taste more than a bow. I used my Stampin’ Blends in Dark Old Olive and Dark Misty Moonlight to colour some rhinestones to match the New Horizons DSP.

Third Alternative Card

Third Alternative Card

I based this alternative on a mini slimline card, but I used the remainder of the New Horizon Designer Series Paper from the previous card. Since the DSP didn’t fill the background, I added a leftover piece of envelope behind the white embossed piece. I decided to use the Shaded Spruce die cut mountains that matched the jagged piece from the kit to create a base for my sentiment. For embellishments, I used the ribbon and the rhinestones from the Kit.

Fourth Alternative Card

Fourth Alternative Card

For this alternative, I decide to make a full A2 card using Misty Moonlight for the card base. I framed the scene with a Basic White frame, but if you were carefully with your trimming, you could use the card front with no frame. Then I add the wooden fence with die cut grass in front to balance the die cut mountains, circle and sentiment.

Fifth Alternative Card

Fifth Alternative Card

For my last alternative, I decided to cut apart one of the card fronts and added them to an Old Olive card base. I layered the sentiment on some leftover pieces from the Kit. I then added Misty Moonlight ribbon and rhinestones for my embellishments.
